The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

They walked a few circles growling and watching their opponent. That was when Skull jumped forward and clawed Blue across his face. It was a relatively common rule not to hurt each other during friendly matches. In friendly matches, if the opponent keeps their claw directly at a vein or a deadly spot, or tackles the other to the ground and trap, or maybe when both of them run out of stamina - the battle ends. Everyone gasped when they saw how the claw mark stamped on Blue's face. Because he was an alpha with such dominancy, it started healing within seconds. But when he ferociously growled, he made it well clear he would stamp more than one claw mark on Skull.

I feel your pain. I suffer from chronic migraines as well and know sometimes it is so hard to function in this world. All you can do is take it one day at a time. Taking monthly shots and daily meds to try to control them are no fun and I understand your pain. Just try to do your best, keep smiling

Twisted Rivalry

Twisted Rivalry

The second they disappeared, I let out a sharp, frustrated breath and slumped back into my chair. Unbelievable, I thought, staring at the mountain of work suddenly dumped into my lap. He had left me to clean up the mess he'd created, all so he could go play the doting fiancé.I dragged a stack of folders toward me, typing out cancellation emails with aggressive, angry strokes. The two of them really deserved each other. ***

The CEO’s Private Desires

The CEO’s Private Desires

I was beginning to draw attention, and eyes flickered from their fixed position to focus rather at the scene near the exit, to focus on us. I glanced around to see phones has also gone up to record more of what is happening. Murmurs broke out of the crowd present about the scene we’re causing. There has always been a rumor, that both of us are enemies. Just that none of us ever confirmed it. The rumor is mainly about how I am jealous of Ryan’s success and picked rivalry with him out of envy, while the remaining few spoke about Ryan being a betrayal who stole something dear to me. The world knew us as a formal best friends, but had no idea what separated us. Nobody does, all reasons or ideas

THE REFLECTION GAME

THE REFLECTION GAME

The crystal shattered, and the creature let out a deafening roar before collapsing into a pile of ash. --- Aftermath When the trial ended, the students were teleported back to the arena, where their teachers and peers awaited. Both schools stood silent, the weight of what they’d just experienced hanging in the air. Principal Katie stepped forward, her expression grave. “Today, you have proven your strength and unity. But let this be a lesson—some games should never be played.” The headmaster of Obsidian Crescent nodded. “We have much to reflect on. Let the rivalry end here, for there are greater battles yet to come.”

His expression was unreadable, but his voice was firm. "Tell me, Grandfather, why exactly do you hate the Monteros so much?" Silence fell over the sitting room Cyril’s eyes snapped to Ryan Ryan crossed his arms. "We grew up hearing about how the Kavanaughs and Monteros were rivals, how we should never trust them. But no one ever told us the real reason behind it. So tell me, why? What started this war between our families?" Gad leaned against the wall, watching Cyril closely. Melda also turned, curious. Even Valerie, who knew more than most, remained silent, letting Cyril decide whether to finally speak.

Believe me when I say I'll end our friendship once and for all if you don't stop fighting right now!" Jensen was already finding it difficult to defeat Spencer from the get-go.
