I remove all of my things and decided to go back in the room where I stay in the first night. I smiled upon remembering all of the scenarios happened in here. The first meeting, breakfast, bond and many more. I hope it will last but I think this is my destiny. I live just to beg for love. I look at the moon outside, I am really not welcomed in any world. I will always be an outcast and a substitute. I can’t help myself but to cry again. This is too much to handle. The book glows. I pick it form the bed and saw my reflection.

Smiled. > “You used to hate your mouth,” the reflection said. Sera didn’t respond. > “Said it curved the wrong way when you lied.” The reflection stepped closer no glass between them. Just air. Just implication. > “I don’t lie.” Sera swallowed. > “You’re not me.” The reflection tilted its head. > “Not yet.” A pause. Then a shift. The reflection blinked. > “But I remember Lucien’s hands.” > “I remember the book Elise hid under the vent.”

The reflection smiled and spoke in my voice. “You will become me. You always were going to.” I screamed. Mana flared—wild, desperate. Violet light cracked along my arms, burning the tubes, scorching the restraints. The machines shrieked. My family stepped back. But the reflection laughed. “You can’t escape what you are.” I fought harder. The bed shook. The glass reservoirs cracked. Blood spilled across the floor. “I don’t want to!” I roared. “This is wrong!” The reflection’s smile widened. “Keep telling yourself that.”

“You’re not.” The reflection sighed, as if disappointed. “I was hoping you’d be smarter than that, Anna.” Anna clenched her fists. “Stay away from me.” The reflection’s smile didn’t waver. “I don’t want to hurt you,” it said, voice unnervingly calm. “I want to help you.” Anna frowned. “Help me?” It nodded. “You’re fighting something you don’t understand. The Reflection Game wasn’t a test—it was a doorway. You opened it. And now, there’s no closing it.”

“You’re not real” The reflection tilted her head. “Am I? Or am I still inside you, waiting for you to fail so I can rise again?” My throat tightened. “Stop.” Behind me, Charon laughed. “Do you see? Your past is your prison. You cannot escape it.” I forced myself to look at the reflection. “You’re wrong. I’m not you anymore.” “But you carry me,” my reflection said. “You carry my choices, my mistakes. You think you can escape destiny? You are destiny.”

"That’s all I ask." He stood up and left the room, leaving me alone with the sleeping baby. I looked in the mirror at my own reflection. The "Mirror of Malice" hadn't shattered at all. The reflection didn’t move. Ariana’s breath caught. “No…” The reflection smiled. Her heart slammed violently against her chest. “That’s not me.” The reflection tilted its head. But the smile— It didn’t feel human. “You always say that too.” Ariana stumbled back. “Get out of my head.” The reflection stepped forward. Out of the mirror. Into the space with her.
