Frozen Fox Novels & Stories

Didn't even look back. Something inside me froze harder than the room itself. The pain swallowed everything. I passed out in my own blood. *** I woke up in my bed. The doctor said I was lucky. Any later, the baby wouldn't have made it. She looked at me, hesitating. "They told me it was just your period. They stripped a pregnant woman and threw her in a freezer. You never told Sandro?" A gust of wind flipped open my diary. Each page had a number—how many times I waited over the last three years. How many times he let me down.

Sofia Some great guy once said, "It's our choices that define us," I don't really know who that guy was but if he was still alive and anywhere near Vixen, one of New York City's prominent night club where I was right now, then I would dearly like to contradict him. Because, clearly my choices don't define me or do they? I frowned as I stared at the ice sculpture that seemed like a peacock adorning the bar but I couldn’t be sure for my vision was anything but clear right now. Everything seemed doubled and blurry.

I was also the admin in the parents' group chat. I directly tagged everyone in the group and posted everything Ellie and Brandon did. This included the footage of Ellie encouraging Archie to call her "Mommy". The most shocking part was the video where Brandon and Ellie plotted how to kill me in front of Archie. To be more precise, they were subtly teaching Archie how to kill me. "The snow this winter is really heavy. A few stray dogs in our neighborhood have frozen to death," Ellie said. "Yeah, if you're accidentally locked on the balcony in this cold, you'd probably freeze to death," Brandon agreed.

"You're just a mere beast! Get lost!" Chase let out a sharp breath, kicking the Ghost Boar in the stomach. The boar let out a miserable shriek, its body hurtling dozens of feet away. It smashed through countless ancient trees before it finally came to a stop. Suddenly, from atop a small hill, a snow-white fox with wings sprouting from its back lunged toward Chase. Its presence was even more menacing than the Ghost Boar's, and its speed was terrifyingly fast.

As soon as I opened my eyes in the morning, my eyes immediately fell on white boxes tied with a blue silk ribbon. Pulling them out to the middle of the room, she chose the largest one, pulled the ribbon with trepidation, removed the lid, and there! ... I stood motionless and looked inside, then carefully pulled out and unfolded - a fur coat! Frozen, she held her outstretched arms, examining her from all sides. I recognized the fur right away - a polar fox.

Fog slinks across the ground, curling around my ankles with a chill that seeps into my calves. As I reach the middle of the third ridge, I catch movement—a rustle to my left, then a chuckle, squeaky and high. "Oh no," I mutter, slowing. A glowing figure darts between the trees. Then another. Then three. Four. Silvery, glimmering, and fox-shaped. "You lost again." The spirit foxes emerge fully, baring sharp little teeth, their eyes shining like moonstones as they circle me, tails waving like flags. "We remember you," one chirps in a sing-song voice. "You fed us fish crackers."

He said, standing up from the chair. Frio nodded and covered the head of two men and not long after, the two dropped on the floor as if they were dead. “Your skill is truly remarkable. I still can’t believe that you just discovered that skills not so long ago.” “Eon’s wolf is amazing,” Frio said, putting back his leather gloves. He didn’t know that he could freeze another wolf just by concentrating his wolf’s energy in his palm until Eon told him that he could.

His dark eyes locked onto mine, hard and unreadable. "You're slacking, Fox," he said, his voice dropping into a low, raspy growl. "Get up. The courtyard needs sweeping before the outer patrol returns." I didn't answer. I dragged myself off the hard wooden floor, forcing my trembling legs to hold my weight. I threw the coarse wool tunic over my head, the rough fabric scraping against my raw skin. My red tail twitched once against my calf, a silent display of the fury burning beneath my exhaustion.

, he grinned cheekily. "Yeah?" Raven hummed pushing to stand up, "When was that?" he teased. "About seven and a half hours ago", he answered honestly, standing fluidly the fox in his arms, "You know a baby fox is called a kit, not a puppy", he pointed out. Raven still rearing from the sudden new information, he stared at Zen shocked, and before he could say anything about it, Marcia and Pyria stepped back out into the yard, the latter making a beeline for him, bracing for the impact he winced as the elf picked him up, forgetting her strength.

I turned towards it and froze. Stuck in a small bush, was a tiny white fox, bathed in rays of moonlight as it struggled to free itself. I blinked a couple of times. It was simply adorable. Fluffy. The kind of thing she’d expect to see in a royal court as some noblewoman’s prized pet, not in a brutal competition for Luna. Its fur was impossibly soft-looking, like a new pillow, and its dark, curious eyes moved to lock onto hers. I needed to save it.
