Wolves pounded after them, then one by one peeled off, howls echoing under concrete. At the head of the pack, a scarred she-wolf—taller, broader—snarled, snapping at a male that edged too close. A growl ripples through the forest from behind me and I suck in a sharp breath, balling my hands into fists as I slowly turn around. Two vicious, blue eyes are staring at me with bared canines. Fear grips me, my heart beating against my chest as the creature moves forward. ‘This isn't good.’ ‘You need to fucking shift! Don't bail out on me today!’ I warn her through our mind link, fixating on the angry fox who looks like it's about to tear me apart. ‘I can't…oh no!’ It lunges at me and I quickly move to the other side, standing up at warp speed as I watch it turn to me with a snarl.

I rush into the arena, and the sight in front of me makes me pause. In the middle of the pit is a massive three-tailed fox, its white fur gleaming under the dim lights. The crowd is on their feet, screaming and roaring with bloodlust. The fox is surrounded by five wolves and a panther, each one circling, waiting for an opening. But it’s not just any fox. “Shit,” I mutter, my heart racing. It’s Legion.

But it was not infinite. Lin ' s Fox liked it's tongue as it got unsheathed first, swishing it's bushy tail in the deep oceans. It was a strange sight to behold. The handsome little Lin with his towering Fox in the back drop.He went all in and charged into the enemy hold. The sound of Xie's knuckle cracking was very much audible as the howl of his Wolf bubbled in the waters around it's mouth. Xie's wolf was fluffy and bushy. Even the waters were unable to dampen it's beauty. He was now a magestic beast. Huge and towering. The only part of Xie left in him was were his eyes. He had not switched completely into his beast.

Iris hugged the naked girl tightly, trying to sooth her, not from the bite wound but from the ugly way she was just thrust into the world. This would have truly been a fight to the death, all over a female being frightened, if the tribal head had not pushed through the crowd and howled out, fists clenched. While not the sound known as a wolf howl, fox could bark, scream, and howl much like any other dog, albeit higher pitched, and the beastmen could call out in either form. Even in the chaos, hierarchy reigned supreme. Fur and fangs stopped flying, everyone turning to submit to the angry man standing in front of them with three black stripes on his face.

He blinked up through blurry eyes, wiping at his tears, and then— His heart stopped. A monstrous figure loomed above him. "Grahhhhhhhh!" The creature was unlike anything he had ever seen. Towering, grotesque. Three times the size of a normal wolf. Its eyes burned a hellish red, gleaming with an unnatural hunger. Claws, long and curved, glinted under the weak moonlight. Saliva dripped from jagged teeth as it growled, a sound so deep it rattled through Logan’s bones.
