“I… I saw it while on patrol and thought you would love some.” Liora smiled. “Thank you so much, Gamma Frank.” Frank smiled. “Frank is okay,” he added. Liora nodded, and Nora took the basket. The fruits were quickly washed and served. Without thinking further or tasting for poison, Liora bit down on one. “Wow… so sweet,” she chirped with excitement. Frank watched her eat to her fill before he left. And it was then he left to see the annoying woman who wouldn’t let him rest or have some quiet time.

He had only taken shrimp, broccoli, and asparagus for himself, while he had given me stir-fried rice along with the vegetables — though still not as many as he had on his own plate. First, she almost hit my leg with her and then took the whole blanket away in just one jerk and now behaving like a five-year-old stubborn kid. I quickly turned back to the pan, pretending to concentrate while my heart did somersaults. Sapphire tilted her head, “are you sure she would be able to eat those?” She asked, her gaze lingering on my fruit basket. “We'll never know unless we try.” I smiled, and even though she couldn't eat some fruits, I had some soup prepared for her.
