He opened it and saw a nurse that was holding a basket of fruits. "What's that? I didn't ask anyone to buy a basket of fruits," Vincent said to the nurse while still confusedly looking at the basket of fruits that she was holding. "No, Sir. These fruits were delivered under Ms. Celestine's name," the nurse said before handing over to him the basket of fruits which he accept. He immediately look at the small paper inside of the basket to know who was the person that sent it. But before he gets it, he glances at the nurse that still standing in front of him.

Andymon asked, deliberately changing the topic as he held up the air freshener he had taken from Jaxon’s house. Maximilian followed his friend’s lead and stopped talking about the previous conversation. He then pulled a fruit basket from under the table, the one Jaxon had given him earlier that day, and showed it to Andymon. As expected, Andymon looked at it with a questioning expression. "What is this? Fruit from whom?" Andymon asked.

I don’t care what people think about us; he chose me to be his wife instead of them, and that should mean something. Alex brought the basket close to himself and started offloading all the items in it, and it was a lot. There were different fruits, cut up into tiny slices. There was pasta salad, fried chicken, sandwiches, and a lot of delicious food that made my stomach growl in hunger. Coming to think of it, I haven’t had anything to eat for a while now, so I was starving. We started with the fruit, and as I liked to eat mine, I drizzled cold milk on it and took a spoon, and I almost moaned in pleasure.

I took the first one that came out of the basket and unwrapped it. I sighed contently, the smell of cheese was overwhelming me, but it also made my mouth water even more. Alpha Ethan chuckled softly, “I take it that you like it.” “I do, I really needed this.” I replied and stuffed another piece of fruit into my mouth, the taste melted in my mouth and spread through me. My stomach was rumbling loudly now.

Debby raised her eyebrows when she saw Rio lifting the wooden chest with one hand. “Isn't that heavy?” Debby pointed towards the wooden chest which was now placed on top of the kitchen bar. "No. What’s inside is lighter.” Rio answered. Well, that didn't mean the wooden chest is light, right? Debby thought. "Wow, you like fruits!" Debby said looking at the various types of fruit in the round basket. "No. This is not for me.” Rio said as he looked at her and took a smaller basket, then placed it in front of Debby.

"I brought these for you. I know they are your favorite. Please, just give me a chance to show you that I am different." I glanced at the fruits, unsure whether to accept his gesture or reject it outright. But something in Leo's eyes spoke to me, a glimmer of genuineness that I hadn't noticed before. Reluctantly, I took the basket from him and muttered, "Fine, but don't think this changes anything." It was my favorite fruit. he must have done his homework. it's been a while since I had them. She practically lit up, her expression radiant with gratitude and childish delight. "Thank you!"
