But the high priestess lifted her hand. The room slowly quieted. “We are not finished.” Confusion moved through the crowd. Agnes stepped forward. And in her hands was a large ornate box. My heart stopped. She handed it to the high priestess. The older woman opened it. A gasp moved through the hall. Inside rested a crown. Not just any crown. A masterpiece of gold and pearls, covered in emeralds and small diamonds that shimmered beneath the lights. The high priestess lifted it carefully.

Aameris spoke almost in a whisper, but everyone in the room heard him. The three couples kissed, then turned to look at the crowd. Lindaat started to glow, and a crown appeared on her head. Twisted silver and bronze metals looking like a tree being held by silver roots. Around the crown, small diamonds rose, looking almost like trees. When she turned to look at Teleraamon, he had a circlet of the same silver and bronze on his head. Ailive gasped when a crown appeared on her head, with a solid silver band with sapphires around the edges that looked almost like tears. Dakkaath had a circlet of silver with a hint of bronze in it. Xylia smiled brightly at the two, then felt something on her head

The flickering candlelight reflected off the polished metal, catching the object resting on the dark velvet cushion. My breath hitched. It was a silver crown, intricately forged to look like twisted roots and thorned branches. A half-transformed wolf was carved directly into the front of it. The King stepped toward me, lifting the crown from the tray with both hands. His eyes locked onto mine, hard and demanding. "May you wear this crown in duty to the lineage you carry, and to the protection of the throne." He raised the silver above my head. I felt like I was drowning. I looked up at Eilís one last time, just to catch a flick of anything. Any emotion. Any sign.

Alistair's POV The Great Hall was a sea of faces, but my focus was entirely on the woman walking beside me. Lena’s hand was small in mine, yet her grip was steady. She wore the crimson velvet like she had been born to it, though I knew the weight of the rubies around her neck was taxing her strength. It looked like it was getting on her nerves too, I chuckled internally. We reached the dais. The High Priest stood between the two empty thrones, holding the Ancient Crown of Valerius which was a heavy circle of black iron and raw diamonds. To his left sat the Queen’s Crown, a more delicate gold piece set with blood-red rubies.

Sharper. And on her brow… a crown. It wasn’t heavy, but it hummed with power. Smooth moonstones were set into a silver frame, each gem pulsing faintly in time with her heartbeat. The crown didn’t just sit on her head—it belonged to her, as if the metal had been molded to her soul. She heard footsteps. A cloaked figure approached and knelt before her. “Alpha of Alphas,” he said reverently. “Moon blessed and battle born. The throne is yours.”

“We will leave you here, Hannah. Make sure to be a good woman in front of the prince. Don’t be so stubborn.” She just watched her parents leave her with a lot of ladies that she doesn’t even know. She breathed, trying to relax her senses. “Calling the attention of all the princesses, duchesses, countesses, and other royal maidens.” A dark, low voice said, making her turn. There she saw a middle-aged man looking very serious. There is a scar in one of his eyebrows, making it look like it was sliced in half. The golden lines that trace his suit lighten, and Hannah notices the sapphire ring that belongs to the Palace of Norway, which she noticed that was wore to the workers.

And I think the Moon Goddess hasn't just taken me to her kingdom yet, so that I can witness the rebirth of the monarchy. Drake advances with 3 other alphas. In the hands of the 3 alphas, 3 crowns on a cushion. - Queen Katniss, we took the liberty of having our best craftsmen make these crowns. All the packs present, and even those represented here by others, contributed with gold. The contribution was so great that it was enough to make 100 crowns. The gold that remains will be the fund for the royal army. 3 simple chairs, which Drake had asked Alex's parents for, are brought to the bottom of the stairs and the 3 mates go down and sit down.

Representatives from every major house, minor lordships, merchant guilds, and artisan collectives had gathered to witness what many suspected would be the most significant coronation in living memory. At the ceremony's heart stood a dais carved from single piece of midnight-black stone that seemed to absorb light rather than reflect it. Upon its surface rested a crown that defied every convention of royal regalia—not gold or silver, but crystallized shadow that held depth and complexity like captured starlight given form. The crown seemed to pulse with subtle energy that made the air around it shimmer with barely contained power.

Inside, resting on a bed of midnight velvet, was the crown. It was not the gaudy, gem-encrusted diadem of human fairy tales. This was a piece of stark, purposeful beauty. A band of brushed platinum, wide and substantial. Interwoven through it, like a captured bolt of lightning, was a strand of pure, shimmering silver. Set at the front, not as a centerpiece but as a sober accent, was a single, teardrop-shaped moonstone that seemed to hold a swirling, internal mist. It was weighty. It was real. It was the physical manifestation of everything she had just learned to accept. Luna stared at it, her breath shallow. The Echo and two of the silent, elder Silver Kings stood in respectful silence near

I suppressed the chuckle that threatened to slip past my lips. Kaizen was seated at the head of the table, his regal presence commanding the attention of everyone in the room. The crown on his head caught my attention. The crown was a work of art, crafted from the finest gold and adorned with intricate designs and precious stones. As he turned his head, the light caught the jewels, sending shimmering beams of color cascading around the room. The crown fitted him perfectly, the metal curved to fit the contours of his skull, the weight distributed evenly across his brow. He looked up as I entered and called out to me, beckoning me to come and sit next to him. I felt a wave of anger rise within
