"Tyler, tell him." I nodded, taking a deep breath to steady my nerves before addressing Felix. "The shaman has found a way to cure my curse," I announced, watching Felix's eyes widen in surprise. "But the cure lies in a Blood Ruby, and it's in the possession of the Crimson Claw Pack." Felix's brows furrowed in thought as he processed the information. "The Crimson Claw Pack?" he echoed, his voice tinged with concern. "That won't be an easy task. They're known for their fierce loyalty and territorial nature."

“What are you thinking over there? You’re way too excited for a midnight drive to your parents’ place.” Merrick pulled me out of my thoughts. “I have an idea.” I leaned toward him. “When we get to my parents’ house, we can test it out while there’s someone to pull us apart if it doesn’t work.” “What’s the plan?” he prodded. “The ruby could pull energy through clothes, right?
