“No, you don’t.” My voice hardens, my own conviction taking root. “That’s why they have to pay.”

I laugh, but it’s hollow, bitter. “Why not?”
“Because it’ll destroy you.”
“Destroy me?” I take another step back, crossing my arms. “Sebastian, I have nothing left. What is there to destroy?”
