I asked, pressing my lips together to hold back a laugh. Valen feigned a wounded expression. “You don’t have to sound so doubtful. The Cidron is a proud artifact. It just… has its preferences. And now that you’re the Aether, it’ll need you.” “Need me?” I echoed, uncertain whether to be flattered or nervous. “Let’s say it’s never truly worked for anyone,” he explained. “Only… harmonized. And you’re uniquely tied to Lyria’s magic, to me. If anyone can bring it into balance, it’s you.”

Athea said, looking at Xander. It clicked with me when she said that. The reason Kia came here is because he belongs with Xander. The two collided midair, the impact shaking the ground beneath us. Exchange of powers, exchange of forces, and strength.

"The blood of the Moon Goddess is strong, and the heart of the maid is pure. You have the right to command the element." She reached up, and a delicate blue crystal bracelet shimmered into existence around her wrist. It was made of impossibly clear, multifaceted azure crystals, bound by silver threads that looked like captured moonlight. "My name is Arriana," she revealed, the name echoing with ancient power.
