Once Rejected, Now Desired
I wiped the beads of sweat off my face with the back of my palm before stepping into the dungeons and a strong scent of lavender filled my nose, welcoming me in.
“Did you prepare this place for her?” I asked Gaston with furrowed brows, and he shook his head with even more furrowed brows.
“We didn't prepare a room for her, either.”
“Then what's this scent I perceive?” I asked, ignoring his statement. I didn't care about her comfort, I did, though, I cared about her comfort before she decided to toy with my authority.
“A scent?” He asked and sniffled around us, sending down much air into his lungs, “the scent of blood?”
