ELI: Tranquility was the order of the evening. None of us spoke a word. Frosty looked outside the window the entire time and I focused on the road. I did have a question about what her mother meant by 'work' but I wasn't going to let my curiosity deceive me anymore. Who knew what nice thing or word might come of me? Three was enough to make my stomach churn. A few minutes passed by and we were almost at the party venue. I could already hear the music blasting from the speakers.

“What did she say?” Kira took a deep breath to steady herself before launching into her explanation. “The silver flame is called the Fire of Death,” she began, her voice calm but tense. “It’s said to be summoned by certain supernatural beings who want to shed their physical form. It’s not a natural flame; it’s created from their own power. The flames burn hotter than anything normal and are as intense as the strength of the being who summons them.” The room went still as her words sank in. Caitlyn felt a cold shiver run down her spine, the gravity of the revelation sinking in. She glanced at Matt and Theo, their jaws tight with the memory of seeing Charlotte consumed by those very flames.

Horatio looked down at Caine and smiled coldly as he added, "A loser like you is an insult to sacred weapons. You Yarrolanders are laughable. You put all your hopes on a lifeless object. How is that different from just sitting around and waiting for death?" As he spoke, Horatio pointed at Caine with one hand. I did not give in because a moment later something really hot was on the inside of my finger. It burned my flesh. A new round of tears leaked as I tried to remove my hand. He didn’t let this happen. He kissed my neck. But nothing could keep me from crying as something burned my finger. The faint smell of flesh burning entered my nostrils. I groaned from the pain and my head collided with the railing as I threw it back.

I raised my tail and let it crash down, causing a loud crash and shudder throughout the club. “Willow, is shifting!” I hear Nix say. I can’t look toward her right now. Drake grabs hold of my massive shoulders and holds on. He digs his long claws into my flesh beneath my scales and begins to emit a heat that turns into fire. It burns as hot as lava. I let my own heat radiate from me. The two elements of fire mixed and soon there's so much fire and heat around us that if anything gets close it will go up into a blaze. The fire alarm system kicks in, but the sprinklers have no effect. I barely hear Nix’s muffled screams.

He punched the skinny, pale Brit playfully in the shoulder. Oliver cocked a brow quizzically. “Oh, come on.” James rolled his eyes. “Dude, you’re like a freakin’ X-man with the fire thing. Please tell me you practiced?” The British boy sighed. “Wait, what fire thing?” asked Romero. Oliver shrugged indifferently. “It’s better to show you than tell you.” He dug into his back pocket and extracted a gold-plated lighter. “I’ve found that it’s much easier to manipulate it then to produce it within me. This way,” he continued as he pressed down on the button which caused a flame to appear, “it doesn’t drain all of my energy.”

Perse said. “He’s got more than five supernatural powers within him.” “Have you ever heard of Pyrokinesis?” Perse asked and I thought for a while. “Isn’t that the controlling of fire with mind? Or fire manipulation, something like that?” I asked and they both nodded. “He has that ability too” She whispered and a light gasp escaped my lips. “So be careful” she added and I nodded even though I didn't mean it. How dare he hurt me? He messed with the wrong girl, I’m going to have my pound of flesh, no matter what.

That send a pang of relief through my chest, one that lessened the pain of my throbbing shoulder wound. “I have an idea.” She heaved breathlessly, pulling something from the backpack slung over her shoulder. “No---” I heaved, ready to tell her to save herself. My eyes widened when I noticed the bottle of shimmering, green liquid in her hands. “It’s green fire.” Helena exhaled, her eyes were wide and almost giddy with excitement when they darted up to my own. “The label on the shelf said, “Endless Flame.” She held the bottle in her hands as though it were an infant, cradling it as though it might shatter in her hands.

I slapped my hand on my lips covering back the scream, in a matter of seconds those things tore out flesh and muscles until all that was left of the man was bones and patches of muscles here and there. They squeaked their victory and Felix walked forward. He threw a small ball of fire, when it landed on the floor it exploded and howled. I jolted backwards from the intense heat that was begining to burn the oxygen in the air. The prophecy was coming to pass, he was burning in hell The fire seemed liquid, like larva but not quite. “Let's go." Felix said walking out of the room as if he couldn't stand his own creation. I saw him in a new light now, maybe I was a little bit scared of him now.

Lottie spoke at length about everything she learned about herself and her powers, and she and Arly are the same potent mix of magic and fyre. That was one of the things she pointed out.
