George Not Found Sister Novels & Stories

she said finally. The name dropped into the quiet like a lead weight thrown down a dry well. Bridie went still beside me. Her fingers clenched so hard against my palm that the signet ring on my forefinger bit into my flesh. "Ewan's cousin. The one he brought into partnership after the succession challenge."

She looked beautiful in her gown, but she still had that cool vibe — black nails, a few piercings, and an attitude that said she did not care much about all this fancy stuff. “Hey, sis,” she said when she reached me. “How are you doing? How is your health?” “I’m fine,” I replied, smiling softly. “Everything is okay now.” Iris nodded. “George wanted to come tonight, but he couldn’t make it. He really wanted to see you. He has missed you for a long time.” I remembered who George was — the stepbrother. “Oh, that’s so sad. I would have loved to see him.”

Full of bath steam and little footprints. Bianna came into the kitchen behind me and picked a grape from the bowl on the island. “They were so happy, though.” I stared at the glass wall behind the sink. The yard was getting darker now. The little lake behind the house sat still as ever, like the world hadn’t just tried to stab me with a coincidence sharpened to surgical precision. “Yeah,” I said. “And, by the way...” Bianna tossed the grape into her mouth, far too casual. “Your sister’s fiancé looks like the twins.”

Her transformation had not gone as far as that of Svetlana’s father: he had empty holes where his eyes had been but hers harbored black furry spiders quivering inside her irises. I’m an orphan now, Svetlana thought dully. It’s not too bad to be an orphan. The Voice is our father. I don’t need anybody else. Not mother, father, or . . . I had a sister named Sveta. My sister was a pest. I bet you are a good girl . . . Andrei! The cry in her mind was so loud that she was sure the eyeless puppets would hear it, but they did not stir. Brother! Help!

I said impatiently, maintaining my furrowed eyebrows stare at him. "It happened on the field. She said she caught me cheating? I don't know what kind of friends she's been hooked with lately, but they have been stalking me and giving her terrible advice." He explained. For the situation of things, the distance between us was enough to turn me into a freaking whore but I was too bothered by his emotions that I found it hard to concentrate on my attraction. "Caramel?" I shook my head in pessimism. "I refuse to believe that." My sister had never been that kind of woman. She loved Justine and I thought she never had a reason to doubt it.

He said: not that I've seen. She said: thank you for telling me. She went outside. She stood on the pavement. She thought about George and his careful, off-frequency week. She thought about Paul letting a woman upstairs who said she was George's sister. George did not have a sister. She called George. He answered on the second ring. She said: someone was in your apartment last week. A woman who told your building manager she was your sister. A pause. He said: Kristine. She said: you knew.

Fabe asked. "Yes, Fabe. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I don't have much of choice before. She's my sister and the only family I have." "Tell me, where can I find your sister?" Fabe waited for an answer. Instead, Georgina stood and pressed the buzzer for the police to open the door. She refused to answer her and left. After all, Irene was her sister. Fabe went home and barged into Stephen's room. He looked like a mess. She never saw her room that dirty. They were shredded pictures of him and Georgina on the floor, and Stephen smelled wine.

Before he could respond, the door opened again and Queen Rosina, George's stepmother, and Brittany, my half-sister, came in. “What's going on here?” asked Queen Rosina. Without taking his eyes off me, George replied, “You were right, Mother. She is nothing but a traitor and a liar. I caught them both on the bed.” The Queen took one long look at Rick's half-naked form and my flushed face and shared a look with my sister. “Oh, I'm sorry that you're going through this, Alpha George,” spoke Brittany, her voice pitiful and sympathetic. “We've been trying to tell you for a while now, but you just wouldn't listen to us.”

Susan’s POV: After returning to her seat from the bathroom, Hallie said to George. “Dad, when I went to the bathroom just now, I saw my sister here!” “Oh, it appear that she know it is a big day for her and she cares about this ceremony after all.”George snorted. “Then, why didn’t she come out to find us?”

Laura asked again just to make sure. George nodded, his brows furrowed in confusion and she could see the worry slide into his eyes. “Of course I did. Don't you think I know what my only and favorite sister looks like?" Laura forced a laugh. She didn't exactly find it funny but she didn't want to freak George out. She knew she hadn't been there which meant someone like her had been there and it meant danger was close. She tried to shove the feeling of restlessness away. She asked him some questions about his health and how his treatment was going.
