George’s face lit up and he held Elara’s hand in his excitement, “Oh, Elara. I can’t believe we will be working together soon. I will wait for you tomorrow.” Elara gulped down and freed her hand again from his grip, “Are you visiting every baker to invite them personally?” She asked chewing her lower lip in mischief. George’s face blushed under her gaze, “N…no. I mean, yes, dear. Why not? Y…you all are important to me… For us. For our company.” He was blushing and stuttering like a teenage boy. After he left, Elara felt happy and sad at the same time. Happy because she could see what effect she had on other men.

He speaks Greek! I was stuck on a certain page, and who could say why. Coral liked the pictures, but there was something about them that both terrified me and fascinated me. “You’ll have to tell me. Can you read this,” I asked, turning the book toward him as he leaned in. He eyed it carefully, and I watched his facial expressions with great interest. He seemed almost like he didn’t want to read it, but also couldn’t look away. “I’m not an elemental warlock. Angel is the best one there is, she could probably work on this spell. But sometimes the spells decide who they work for,” he said, his eyes reading.

“I can’t believe you can understand him so well just from meeting him once. I lived with him for ten years and still didn’t see through him.” George ruffled her nose affectionately. “Reading people is basic for a psychologist. How else could I treat my patients? You’re still just starting out. You’ve got a lot to learn.” Hailey nodded, suddenly recalling the first time she met him. Curious, she asked, “What did you think when you first met me? Did you see straight through me?” George laughed. “You didn’t need me to see straight through you. The moment you walked in, I knew we had a little sourpuss on our hands. Every inch of you screamed you’d been tormented by a worthless man.”

Wanting him so badly it made me physically ache. My phone buzzed again. My heart jumped, hoping… But it wasn’t Gavin. George’s POV: Ever since Hallie and Susan left the house, I had less trouble. Sometimes, when I had nothing to do, I would read. However, I could not understand serious topics, so I bought a few novels. Phoenix novels were popular, so I pulled some strings and managed to get several of them. “Mr. Wilson, someone is looking for Miss Wilson,” Daisy called out to me.

"I didn't think I'd meet you here! What a pleasant surprise!" "Can't say the same," Zara replied with a mild frown. Ignoring that subtle hostility, Cora glanced at George from head to toe. "Who is this hunk?" "I don't owe you any—" Zara began, but George chipped in, waving his hand, "Hi, I'm George Thatcher, Zara's boyfriend. Nice to meet you." Cora's eyes bulged from the sockets as soon as she heard this. "You are George Thatcher, the male model who has been causing waves in the modeling industry?" After receiving a nod, she asked further, "And you are dating Zara?"

“You would not.” Taking a deep breath, I lift my chin. “I would.” For a few moments, I can’t read him. Except to know he’s deciding how to play me. Play the situation. And after what just happened in the library, I should have known seduction would be his choice. But even if I had known, I never could have prepared for the power of Seductive Aleksei. “Georgina. George, who is sitting straight, says, "George. My name is George Riley." Hideous nodded his head. "George," he began again, calling the name of his daughter's lover's name. He felt bitter, but he couldn't do anything about it. His voice was grave with concern. "We need to talk." With this, he was even more certain about it. He doesn't know what kind of conversation they will have, but he hopes that they won't tell him to get the hell out of their sight and not appear in front of Sherly anymore.

The witches continued to chant, their voices growing louder and more insistent. Finally, George slumped back against the wall, his eyes glazed over. The witches knew that the spell had worked, and they wasted no time in asking him questions. "Tell us, George," the third witch said, her voice low and dangerous. "What do you know about Lucia?" George's eyes flickered, and he spoke in a low, hoarse voice. "I knew her. We were friends before the war. She gave me that book to keep safe." The witches exchanged a look of triumph. They had finally found their way to the book. But they knew that they couldn't let George go. He was a werewolf, and he knew too much.

Sigrid said awkwardly. "Are you sure?" he asked. Sigrid was speechless again. She didn't know exactly which part he'd read. Was it one of the erotic parts? Sigrid was a little hesitant. Just when she was about to go and read the page, George stared into her eyes and said, "I didn't expect you would enjoy these things. I'll buy more for you." Oh, no! She exclaimed inwardly, "It's a misunderstanding!" Just as she was in a dilemma, George showed her the page he was on and asked, "Do you like this position? Do you want to try it? I think you can pull it off."
