George was across from her, flipping through a folder. They weren’t smiling. They weren’t whispering. They were just… working. Like two people on the same mission. I hated how much sense they made together. At one point, George leaned over to show her something on the page. She didn’t flinch. Didn’t pull back. Just leaned in too, reading closely. It shouldn’t have hurt. It wasn’t romantic. But it did. Because once, that used to be me. Once, I was the one she leaned toward.

Beth lets out a sharp, breathless gasp, finally gathering enough oxygen to speak, her voice trembling violently as she looks between me and Julie. ”A... a werewolf? You? Aiden? You're... you're actually serious? This isn't a joke?” George doesn't yell, and he doesn't panic. The stony, terrifying investigator persona returns in full force, sharper than it was in the hallway. He sits completely silent, his sharp eyes observing the ripped sleeve under my armpit, the sheer, supernatural bulk of my shoulders, and the raw, inhumane intensity that Hamlet is letting bleed into my blue eyes.

The casting Unspeakable started to cast a very specific diagnostic. *groan* "Really?" "Really." "Gibbers?" He asked the casting Unspeakable. The cloaked man finished his spell and directed his cloaked face to his superior. "Affirmative for Horcrux." "Bloody Hell. Who is the kid?" The gloved Unspeakable, Buzzer, went to one of the books still on top of the bed and opened it, reading the name written on the front cover's back out loud. "Ginny Weasley."

I said. “They are working together,” he said. “I know, and I wonder why,” I said. “To distract you, you are trying to take down Jasper while safely keeping the pack, so that way your attention is not on her,” George said. “Who is he?” Duncan asked. I smiled. “I am George, Selena’s younger brother,” he said, smiling at Duncan. I rolled my eyes. “He is the warlock,” I said. “Oh, nice to meet you,” Duncan said, outstretching his hand, and they shook hands. I saw Odin coming towards us.

*** THEON George was already waiting in front of the library when I finished reading and conceptualizing about the project in one of my subjects. He even raised his hand holding a book, he was quite weird though but I saw his face full of happiness and reading his expression, it seemed he had some good news to share. So, I walked hurriedly just to leave the place, and I was not really comfortable staying there due to some personal concerns. “Hi Sir Theon, I have a surprise for you.” George mentioned.

Ben whispers into my ear, his fingers stroking my hair. —————————- “Do you really think he is going to die? I haven’t read the book, but I hope he doesn’t. I don’t even have the time to read books anymore, goddamnit.” I sigh, staring at the fourth page of the book Georgia was reading before I got here. Georgia stares at me unimpressed. “I haven’t even read that part yet, Lary! Who picks up a person’s book and starts to read from the middle?” she whines.

“If you can’t be quiet, can you please leave? I’m trying to read here.” Zoe and I jolted in surprise upon hearing George's voice. I felt my cheeks heating up in embarrassment when I saw him sitting on one of the couches, holding a thick, old book as he watched us impassively. “Ah, yes. I apologise for disturbing you…” I paused when I realised if he'd been there for a while, he must have witnessed my fight with Seraphine. “Hey, George. Mind if I ask something?” I asked. He arched an eyebrow. “What?”

“Dead serious. I love her more than I’ve ever loved anything.” He sat back, dabbing at his bleeding lip. “Then fix it.” I frowned. “How?” Without a word, he strode to the bookshelf, pulled something out, and tossed it my way. I caught it. Looked down. A pink, glitter-coated paperback. 100 WAYS TO WOO A GIRL (AND NOT BE AN ASSHOLE). I blinked. George was grinning so wide tears shone in his eyes. “Read it. Cover to cover. It was written for disasters like you.”

George turned from the window, gestured to the two enforcers, and opened the door, leading the Enforcers and the group inside. Charles sighed, squeezing me closer. "Elanor is a friend of the family. Highly specialized in compulsion-breaking rituals, seems like Ethan's going to be around longer than he thinks." George came back out, closing the door behind him. Charles smirked. "Sorry, old friend. It seems you might have some competition for a little while." George scoffed. "You're the worst." I looked between the two of them. "What are you two talking about?" Charles chuckled and winked at George. "George has got a crush on Eason."
