Failing Moon
Tarrin replied, unhooking himself.
“You’re stating the obvious,” the wolf snickered in the background, still being ignored.
Looking at the time on the monitor, Tarrin swore, “Shit, I’m already late.”
“Oh, I almost forgot,” Linux dug in his jeans and pulled out keys, “ready and waiting, as promised.”
Tarrin smiled briefly, happy to have a car again.
“Make sure you’re back by 8, the moon will start to rise before that, but you’ll have a bit of time before the change might occur,” Linux yelled as Tarrin left the lab.
