A synergy of power seemed to elevate Bonbon and Rouma, as the liquid amplified their abilities. The realization struck the two of them and they utilized their augmented powers to grasp Brugour's whip. Rouma's right hand spun the whip in a circular motion, generating formidable strength.

Howard waved him off before continuing, “I heard you talking about the old hag who took Miss Norris. I happen to know something about it.” “Huh?” All three of them turned to look at him. Howard said, “When I was helping to cure Mr. Yardley from the venom, I found out that it was the venom of the Nefarious Roach.” “Venom of the Nefarious Roach?” Finn and Iris looked bewildered. It was the first time they had heard about this. Chase cut in, “The Nefarious Roach is a low-level spiritual beast. It’s shaped like a little green snake and is very agile in movement. It understands human speech and its venom is particularly lethal. It would cause instant death for an ordinary man with one touch.”

I froze the moment I recognized him. “Luther,” I whispered. Luther stepped ahead and tightened the rope in his hands before yanking it all at once. Connor choked. “Boss…!” Ryan exclaimed and retreated. Luther’s eyes dropped to my naked body, and fury burned in his eyes. He bent down and wrung Connor’s neck with a thick rope violently. I shrieked when Ryan appeared behind him with a gun.

I turned back to Gordon, turning the device in my hands. “Do you know what this is?” His eyes narrowed on the long metal rod in my hand. It had a circular base carved with runes made of the same enchanted silver as the chains. Gordon shuddered in a panic. “No,” he whispered, horror dripping from his voice. I cocked my head. “No, you don’t recognize it, or—” “Get that thing away from me!” he screeched as I came closer.

They emerge from a hole in the ground, a dark and menacing opening that seems to be the very gate to the underworld. The Drider, an equally terrifying entity, accompanies them. Its appearance is a grotesque blend of spider and humanoid, with a body covered in dark hair and long, sharp legs that creak with every movement. Its eyes, a bloody red, reflect pure malice and an insatiable thirst for power. Did this man just join the hunters without ever seeing any dragon in his entire life? Silva snapped and showed its razor teeth to intimidate the man, preventing him from taking another step. “I am Rohan,” the hunter told the dragon. His hand found the hilt of his sword, which startled Tristan and Silva. “I said watch, human,” Gondra said just as Tristan was about to walk. “You are only seeing a vision. You can do nothing else but watch.”

Eli snaps, fixing himself before he had toppled. Rodrick ignores him and closes the door behind him, his gaze falling on Lily and his eyes widen in alarm. "Girl you shouldn't play by these things. Get away from them." He demanded. Lily listened, but her brows pinched in confusion. " What are those things, Rodrick? " Rodrick shrug as he walks to the table in the corner of the room. "Serpent venom, witches hazel, vampires blood, and other things you should not be playing with."

It was Rodri. He was in some dark silk shirt that draped casually down his tall, broad figure. The neckline was in a sharp V that flaunted his chest, and more of the tattoo. I still hadn’t been able to see the tattoo in full. But the curves of the dark ink on his tan skin, was the sexiest accessory a man could have. Pants of the same dark silk encased his strong , stallion legs loosely, with the strings hanging down groin area suggestively. It was almost like they were asking to be tugged loose.
