The volcanic ridge overlooking the Blackwood Cyber-Hub looked like a jagged tooth cutting into the stormy night sky. Rain lashed against Ava’s tactical visor, but beneath her skin, the warmth of the Blue Rose grotto kept the freezing cold at bay. Beside her, Caleb was adjusting the straps on his forearm computer, his face set in hard, unforgiving lines. The "Billionaire in a Three-Piece Suit" was completely gone. Before her stood the true specter—the legendary cleaner known only to the underworld as the Ghost.

As the Gaia clan stood together, bracing themselves for the unknown threat, a sudden stillness fell over the forest. The air grew thick with an ethereal energy, and a soft, haunting howl echoed through the trees. It was a sound that resonated deep within their souls, stirring something primal and ancient. Kai felt a shiver run down his spine as he turned to Alex. "Do you hear that?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Alex nodded, her eyes wide with wonder. "It's the spirit of the wolf," she said. "The ancestors are calling to us."

Everything was a mess! The man immediately turned his face at the little boy. His face darkened. "Tell me, Little Veen, how did I frighten her? I was merely showing her the memories of my real appearance but, I do not understand why she was so frightened and kept denying my existence even in her sleep." He said in dissatisfaction that reflected on his handsome face. The little boy called Veen coughed softly in a polite manner. "Your appearance now is similar to those of what humans called a ghost. You have not fully recovered your body yet, so you cannot do anything. Just let her be for now."

His uncle had given him the weapon to hide in his clothes, which was cold and heavier than it looked. “What are you fools waiting for? Go after her!” Big Trey yelled at them as they ran out of the crib, down the stairs and outside the building, to see the woman closing the car door she just entered, as it sped off. “Shit!” Khalil cursed. The opportunity to redeem himself and impress the boss had been wasted. ! ! ! ! ! ! Kimberly breathed a sigh of relief in the car, as they drove out of the lower east side of the city.

Of course Ria had abandoned that conclusion she made herself. “You spirit?! Really a spirit?” Ria still didn't really believe it. But it was clear she was looking at him and talking to him now. "Yes of course. I'm sorry that I shocked and scared you. I really didn't mean that. Really. Please don't leave after this…” He looked so guilty. Ria didn't know why he was so apologetic. He's a ghost, right? Either way he would still make people afraid and shocked. But she didn't say it out loud.

With a click, the clasp came undone, and the pendant fell to the floor. In a flash, Zoe’s eyes widened. She grabbed my collar like a madwoman. “Y-You… You didn’t switch fates? You lied to me?!” I looked at her in surprise. “What are you talking about?” Miles suddenly exclaimed, “Ow, Maisie. My neck feels itchy.” He pulled down his collar, exposing his collarbone, and clearly revealed who was actually wearing the demonic fate-swapping lock.

After a while, Leslie stretched and yawned, feeling the weight of sleep. ​"Hey, I'm tired. Let’s go back, it’s really late," Leslie suggested. ​"You go ahead," Scarlett replied firmly. "I’ll head back later. I just want to stay a bit longer." ​Leslie looked at her with a mix of worry and resignation, but finally nodded and began walking back to camp. Scarlett was left alone by the lake, unaware that she was being watched from the other side of the water. ​Across the lake, Zafira and her sister Zahia—two gorgons, women with serpent tails instead of legs—hid in the shadows. Zafira, her serpentine body coiling around itself, watched Scarlett with a mix of surprise and overflowing rage.

Elowen screamed, then looked around wildly, her voice trembling as she muttered, "Ms. Ghost, if you’re still safe, respond to me…" She waited and waited, but the familiar cold presence never returned. Her heart felt as if it had plunged straight into an abyss. Her body went limp, sliding down until she collapsed onto the floor. Lucien saw her reaction and immediately knew that the ghost had truly disappeared. He burst into loud laughter, cold and hollow, like a wraith crawling up from hell. He leaned close to her ear and whispered, "See that? Your lover was sent to hell by your own hands. This is all because of you."

The greenish-blue glow was a little off, but nearly every single window was wide open! The frost wraith, Chloe, floated to the front. Her little face was wrinkled with worry. The Hungry Dead clutched his precious empty bowl. His drool threatened to spill from the corners of his mouth, but his eyes were full of concern. The banshee had stopped crying, sniffing and staring upward. The Poltergeist was holding some random rusty pipe, looking ready to charge up and tear the building apart… There were also the Hanged Ghost, Shadow Sneak, Pipe Phantom…

Felix warned. Laura's vision blurred with tears, feeling that warm sensation of being protected once again. Only after the Brabus SUV left did the fat man dare to stand, his legs still shaking. "Dear God, I just had a brush with death! Damn, I've only been away from North City for a few months! "Who the hell is that guy? How'd he get a ride in Mr. Ghost's car?" That vehicle was recognized throughout not just North City but all of Martial City as Shepherd Ghost's ride. He was an undisputed master of the Transcendent Realm, so nobody would dare cross him.
