As the plane took off, I finally exhaled—like something heavy had snapped loose inside me. Phone on airplane mode. Eyes shut. Real sleep, at last. Sleep I'd been chasing for years. Soft music played in my ears, and for once, the past felt far away. "Hedley Hart, you're finally free," I whispered, voice shaking. For years, I'd lived in her orbit. Loved her so hard I disappeared. Even after ninety-nine rejections, I never thought about quitting.

He lowered his head and had his lips on her neck, giving it a light kiss. Jennet shivered badly after hearing his sexy husky voice. The female ghost was a male ghost? But, she could not pry her eyes away as she stared at the reflection in the glass; engraving his beautiful appearance in her mind. "Hu... Hue..." her lips trembled as she muttered the name. Her heart pounded madly. She tried to move but was powerless. "Yes..." the blond spoke softly in her ear and kissed her neck lightly while inhaling her scent. Jennet could not contain the fear anymore and her eyes rolled upward. She collapsed to the floor; losing consciousness.

"Don't dare touch me again or I'll kill you again." The male chuckles and rubs his hair. "I'm just like you... A ghost. So how can you possibly kill me? I came back just the same way you came back cause I can't let you hurt her even though I wish I can cause she's a silly female." Jalen rolls her eyes at him and relaxes but suddenly shudders when his other words dawned on her and all the hairs on her body started rising and goosebumps prickled at her skin. "Y..yo..u..both are ghosts?"

His eyes travel from my bare to my chain-marked arms, to the look on my face. “I was going to say something but you were looking pretty focused. Didn’t want to interrupt…….whatever this is.” Ghost’s anger builds again and my claws extended. “What are you doing here” I growled moving towards him slowly. His grin widens, not at all moved by the sight in front of him. “Easy now, Kael. I’m just visiting a friend.” Ghost doesn’t believe him. Neither do I. I can smell Aria’s scent on him……he touched her. Ghost’s voice in my head sharpens to a blade.

Caspian would not ignore them. Caspian chased after the ghost, but the ghost really had a certain purpose. It seemed to have a spirit and brought Caspian to a place with countless tombstones. The tombstones were large and small, with different auras. It was like a forest, which made people feel horrible. Not only that, but the shape of the tombstone was very strange. It did not look like a cemetery, but a place to show horrible works of art. "It's like there are many tombstones in the forest?" Caspian felt that this place was a bit strange, but since he already came, he didn't retreat, instead choosing to enter.

Suddenly, Adrian realized that these individuals indeed harbored ulterior motives. Adrian expanded his awareness, and the sight before him left him speechless. The entire hall was now teeming with an array of ghosts and monsters. Among them were towering old men with only one eye, lanterns swaying on a single leg, malformed boys with just one limb each, women clad in white exuding a bone-chilling aura, and skeletal figures draped in human skin...

He had diverted his wife's attention and still left her satisfied with him. He glanced over his shoulder at Ghost bent over the desk. The rules were different with Ghost. Marco wondered at times if the guy had been designed, down to his average-Joe looks. It was easy to look at him and see a regular dude. But Ghost wasn't normal. He bled, he pissed, and he ate like a man, but something about him wasn't right. "You got me?" Ghost said. "Loud and clear. We'll be gone in an hour." Marco let himself out of the apartment, locked the door, and drew his first easy breath.

Sky looked at him once, as if they shared a thought internally and then got back to staring at the front. Dominic was silent for a second before his lips moved, “Why not? I think the graves add a great aesthetic touch to my backyard.” he said. Aesthetic? A cough escaped my lips while Sky snickered at the front. “It doesn’t look aesthetic at all.” I scoffed and remembered how creepy and unnerving it appeared at night. “Are their ghosts in the mansion?” He made a sound with his mouth that seemed like a stifled chuckled, “Why? Do you feel lonely when I am not there?”

ghost child . The little girl shakes her head sadly . " She's not ghost . She's real . " Her eyes glistened with tears but the tears didn't fall . " You're real too . I can see you can't I ? " I smile warmly . She giggles . " That's true . But you can only see here . No other place . " She beams at her knowledge . " What does that mean ? Is this place a beacon for ghosts ? " Jace asks . Maybe his vocabulary didn't quite get to her because she looks up at him in confusion and then gets up , running towards the stairs .
