Moonlight Serenade [English]

Moonlight Serenade [English]

They are the ones who have hardened their hearts and turned their backs on the truth. They will never see life unless God permits them and they repent of their wickedness. Anyone who hears the word but does not obey is not counted worthy of God's kingdom. ~ When she heard Gideon's footsteps, she looked up. Jewel quickly closed the book and returned it to its original location. There was a small smile on Gideon's lips as he walked closer to her while holding a plate with fried banana dipped in flour. "This is called Maruya and is delectable," Gideon declared as he put the plate on the table.

The Alpha's Refusal

The Alpha's Refusal

He stopped just feet away from me, his shadow falling across my bruised face. He looked down at me, at my torn, blood-stained clothes, my bruised face, and my kneeling, battered form. His expression was not pity, but an intense, ancient rage directed at the violation of tradition. "You have severed a sacred bond chosen by the Goddess, Rhys," Gideon stated, his eyes boring into his grandson. "And for what? The unproven testimony of a scared, self-preserving healer, and the theatrics of that... outsider?" He shot a sharp, contemptuous glance at Seraphina, standing rigid behind Rhys.

His Forbidden Guard

His Forbidden Guard

His phone rang. The name on the screen was not Ivanna. It was not the assistant. It was not the cousin or the journalist or the number he didn't recognize. The name on the screen was Catherine, which was his mother's oldest friend and his godmother and the woman who had taught him to play chess in this kitchen, badly, at a table that was no longer here, when he was nine years old, and who had not called him in two years because their relationship had calcified after his father's death into something they had both agreed, without stating it, to maintain at the level of quarterly texts and annual lunches.

Divorced for the 9th Time

Divorced for the 9th Time

I opened his Instagram profile and deleted it. At eight, after going through the immigration gates, still no call. I opened his number again and added it to the blacklist. At nine, I boarded the plane, deleting every photo and message connected to him. My phone rang—it was Hannah. I answered. But the voice on the other end wasn't hers. It was Jake—panicked, trembling, almost on the verge of tears. "Alison… where are you?"

After Ninety-Nine Times

After Ninety-Nine Times

“Come on, this is a joyous day! Mia, let’s wish the Alpha a happy birthday and a wonderful life together with his Luna.” Leonard’s voice was bright and loud, trying to ease the awkward atmosphere. When I stayed silent, he looked at me again over his glass and mouthed, “You can use a forgiveness coupon.” Back then, Leonard had asked me to be his Mate 98 times, and I had rejected him 98 times. I thought he would give up, but he summoned all the werewolves in the pack for the 99th time and got on his knees, swearing to the Moon Goddess,

The Ninth Time He Left

The Ninth Time He Left

I leaned against the cold brick wall, my hand trembling as I pulled my phone from my pocket and called my assistant, Maria, to come get me. The ninth time. I thought back to the ridiculous bet Julia had proposed a year ago. "Nine choices, Leona. Let's see who Isak really picks. The loser walks." The first time was at my mother's funeral. A rival family crashed the service and opened fire. Isak dove to shield Julia without a second thought. The second time was at his succession ceremony. A bomb went off, and his first instinct was, again, to protect Julia. The third, fourth, fifth time…

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

Hands still visible. “You could have killed me,” he says. “I still can,” I reply. He nods—once. Walks to the door. Pauses. “Gideon won’t stop,” he says—quiet. “He’s not like the old ones. He doesn’t want power. He wants perfection. And he’ll burn everything to get it.” Then he’s gone—footsteps fading down the stairwell. We don’t chase him. We take the laptop. Wipe the house for prints. Leave through the garden the same way we came.

Alpha Nox

Alpha Nox

How dare they sit and watch while our kind slaughters one another? Smoothing his fingers down his neatly trimmed beard, Gideon smiled enthusiastically. He snapped at the warriors standing at our back, “Bring me the Alpha, Luna, and my whore of a daughter. As for the other three…” He hummed thoughtfully. “Well, I have no use for a truth teller, and with Kalix, I have no need for astral projection. Slit their throats. Oh, and the girl’s too. Shayla, right? Yes, kill all three of them.” “NO!” Jada screamed and begged as the warriors shoved her and Hakeem forward.

Awesome book with a crazy, strong female. Has some typos and inconsistencies but still understandable as has decent grammar. Would be better if nox had shown more of his abilities to be at par with his strong mate

This was the 3rd Jane Doe book I read. Alpha nox is a really good read with a badass female lead. You're a talented author and I can say you've become my favorite author! My heart broke into pieces at some point but intense emotions are what I love the most about your work! Good job, Jane!
