I sat down and tapped the keys, my fingers moving by instinct.
A notification was blinking on the main screen. No sender, no subject, just a video file.
I clicked it.
The screen flickered, then cleared. It was a small, concrete room with no windows, just a single chair bolted to the floor. And in that chair was Gideon.
My breath hitched.
