“Hey, Mom,” Tyce said.
“Hi, Luna Julia, it’s nice to see you!” Gigi straightened, mimicking my mom’s perfect posture, and planted a smile on her face. “Tyce and I brought back some gifts from Vermont for you. Let me go unpack and I’ll bring them down.”
“Are you hungry?” my mom asked, completely ignoring how hard Gigi was clearly trying. “I’ll have Tasha make you something.” She then turned toward the kitchen and was soon gone.
