“I'd like that. I don't like the way my mus is staring at me. it's creepy.” I giggled softly. “Mum, Ade and I would like to be excused. We have a school project, so we would be going to my room. Can you please ask the maids to bring some snacks up to my room?” “Alright love. My eyes are on you guys.” Ade laughed. ✍︎✍︎✍︎✍︎ “Your mum is really funny.” “Yeah. I know right?” “I forgot to ask you something. What happened between Christabel and Jeff? It seemed as though they had some sort of bad blood between them.”

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

Despite the cold, there was a warmth in the air—a sense of anticipation and contentment that had taken root in their hearts. Life at Harbor Hearth Bakery continued to thrive. Every morning, the shop filled with neighbors bundled in scarves and coats, eager to warm their hands with steaming mugs of coffee and indulge in Nicholas’s seasonal treats. Lillian had decorated the bakery with evergreen boughs and pine cones, adding a touch of holiday spirit to the cozy space. The scent of freshly baked cinnamon rolls and spiced apple cider filled the air, drawing customers in from the snowy streets.

Breaking The Bloodwolf Luna

Breaking The Bloodwolf Luna

"I was starting to get bored, then the shorter woman, her name is Liz, and she is the older one. She started talking about a bedtime story they used to hear when they were children." That piqued my attention. I remembered they had said something like that when I sneaked up on their first conversation. "What was the story about?" He chewed on a pancake. "Something like a scary story to make children stay in bed. It was about a wolf sent by the moon goddess to take all bad pups away. The wolf was called the pupsnatcher."

Bite me, Twice

Bite me, Twice

"And I tell them stories." "What kind of stories?" Herb said. This was the part that had gotten him out of bed early on a Saturday morning (his only day off from selling mattresses the rest of the week) to come over here. Willie had mentioned stories when Herb got after him for being late coming home so often. It seemed they made quite an impression on the kid, but when Herb asked what kind of stories they were Willie clammed up. The Brookwood woman shrugged. "You know: ghost stories. The kind children like. Mostly ones my grandmother told me when this was her home. I could tell you one, if you like? So you'll see that they're not so bad."

Lustful Desire

Lustful Desire

Another day, we could craft a gingerbread house fit for a fairy tale, complete with a candy cane chimney and gumdrop windows. Even cleaning up wouldn't be a chore. It would be a shared experience, filled with silly songs and exaggerated flour fights that would leave us both in fits of giggles. And at the end of the day, exhausted but happy, we'd collapse onto the couch, munching on warm cookies and losing ourselves in a storybook filled with talking animals and magical lands.

CEO's Love in Trap

CEO's Love in Trap

"Do you need help to make it?" Again, Gabriella shook her head. “I can make it by myself. Thank you." Enthusiastically, the young woman prepared her little surprise. Never once did she frown. Something burning in the chest had pumped the spirit to make the husband smile. "I hope my decision is not wrong," she thought every time worry came. *** When night fell, Gabriella waited in the living room with a glass jar decorated with a red ribbon. The gingerbread neatly arranged inside looked warm even though it had been taken out of the oven for hours, just like a smile that never left the woman's face.

PRETEND PRINCESS

PRETEND PRINCESS

She merely raised an eyebrow and took a step back. The air was electric with tension, and for a moment, all you could hear was the fire crackling and the snow pounding on the windows. Then, in a futile effort to break the tension—or maybe just because I was too aware of Creed being there—I grabbed a plate of cookies and held it out towards him. "These are my legendary gingerbread cookies. We usually serve them with hot chocolate or chocolate milk. Tradition.".

This book is really interesting and I'm waiting for more updates. Yuyu really is a walking colour disaster sometimes but I love it. Both Creed and Yuyu should sort out their messy relationship before getting together. I can already sense the tension though. Good job author and success to this book

Homecoming tales; Beauty in imperfection

Homecoming tales; Beauty in imperfection

“You got a plan, boss?" Hazel laughed, the sound bouncing off the walls. “Sort of, kind of. I’m thinking of three tents. One for the stuff Mom wants to sell. You know, the ornaments, light, gift wrap, the big red velvet bows. I ordered tons of stuff a week ago when Mom told me about this. I jumped right on it. Mom’s got the Society group lined up to work the store, as she calls it. They’re going to be serving gingerbread, chocolate peppermint pretzel and hot mulled cider the way they used to do it at Morrison Farms. I must have told you about that wonderful place from my childhood. I hate it that Mr Morrison let the farm go to ruin. I have such nice memories of going out there with my father

Once Upon a Story of Us

Once Upon a Story of Us

The entire room turned toward the entrance, their disdain instantly replaced with eager flattery. In their world, news traveled fast. Everyone had heard about Matteo getting into a fight over Rebecca not long ago. Now, seeing him walk in, they rushed to suck up to him. "Mr. Gallagher, so you left earlier to go pick up Ms. Pittman? After all these years, your bond is still so strong!" "Well, of course! They grew up together. They're childhood sweethearts. Just look at Ms. Pittman. She has such elegance and grace. She and Mr. Gallagher are a perfect match."
