Chapter Three : Jay pov I told myself it didn't mean anything. The staring. The way my chest went tight when Cole Ashford looked at me. The fact that I replayed every word of that gym conversation while lying in bed at 2am, staring at my ceiling, my heart beating too fast. It didn't mean anything. I had a girlfriend. A good one. Maya was kind, beautiful, and somehow not turned off by my secondhand sweaters and calloused hands. She laughed at my stupid jokes. She remembered my coffee order. She deserved better than me obsessing over her older brother.

Dove gasped in surprise. She did not believe that Clara would find Marble here. Clara continued to stare at the boy beside the table. She wished to know all the information about this person. She must get her Marble back. Suddenly, Clara turned to continue eating hotpot, not daring to look at the table anymore. She did not expect that the person sitting with that guy was Chris - her ex-boyfriend from high school.

“Checking the merchandise… you see. You can check me out, too, Gia. Hmm… you smell so damn good.” I gulped. “Just to let you know… before you start smelling me and all… I’ve never had a boyfriend.” He looked at me. Then he got what I was saying. And his eyes glazed over.

" I will pluck out of those teeth!" " Hehe! Sis! I will marry my boyfriend tomorrow!" She grins. " Do you ever know what a boyfriend is?" " Yes." " Tell me the definition of boyfriend!" I scoff. " The boy who gives you candy. He gave me a chocolate." " No. They are friends." " No! Boyfriend!" she insists. This girl is getting spoilt. " I am older than you. So I know!" I smirk. " Then why don't you have a boyfriend? You suck!" She rolls her eyes. How dare she!!!

Alyana Perez’s Pov. “Girlfriend??” Xenon asked in shock, although I was also surprised. I have a boyfriend and I don’t even know? I have had no boyfriend since birth. What is he talking about?! “Alyana, what is he saying?” “H-Ha? Uhm... Ahh...”

My best friend said, “I want you to be happy. You deserve to be happy. Have you and Xavier talked about where you see this going?” "We're together," I replied, my heart thumping rapidly. "I suppose we've been without a defining label ever since I spent the night at his apartment before Xavier left for his work assignment." The realization hit me suddenly, causing me to gasp. "Oh my goodness, I have a boyfriend." A rush of emotions flooded through me - excitement, nervousness, and a deep sense of contentment. “I think you have more than a boyfriend in Xavier,” Grace chuckled. “I think that man wants to put a ring on it as soon as he thinks it’s safe to ask you.”

" He's not your brother! Then who is he to you!" "He is ..." He's my boyfriend." Cassie answered her loudly with a guilty conscience. The girl was surprised, "You guys... The age difference between the two of you is too big! Little girl, you're not lying to me, right?" "I'm not lying, he's my boyfriend." Cassie said very confidently. The girl's eyes were filled with disappointment, but also a tinge of shrewdness. Even though the young girl in front of him was as beautiful as a doll, how could a man like him like a little green Plum Blossom?

Still holding the finger up, she stood over Ciara. “Who said I am his girlfriend? Or I'm trying to be romantic? Or hot?” Ciara furrowed her brows in confusion. “Well, obviously, since you're going on a date with him, it means you're giving him a chance, to he your boyfriend, and that will make you his girlfriend, right?” Hailey started laughing hysterically, she fell on the bed laughing and Ciara rolled her eyes and huffed. Ciara put her hand underneath her bosom and looked at Hailey.

Hailey gazed at her mother, who gestured to her to go on and sat down. “Haven’t you come across a handsome guy before?” Hailey asked. “What gives you the right to hit on my boyfriend like this?” Lora was confused. “Boyfriend?” She repeated. “What are you saying? You’re just friends. You literally just broke up with your fiancé yesterday.” “Does it matter? He is a boy, he is my friend, so he is my boyfriend. And as his girlfriend, I do not sit down and watch while clingy girls try to force themselves on him,” Hailey said with a crafty look.

Before I could unleash and defame her in public, Xander spun his head harshly and snarled, “Stop it, Zara!” What the heck? I wasn't planning on stopping. “Tania, I know who you and your boyfriend, Ch…” I hissed but Xander cut me off again. “Zara, stop it. Yes, I am his boyfriend, and I am standing with her outside room number 308. Can't you see how livid my girlfriend is?” He said sharply. Ouch! That did hurt very badly. So, he wanted to make me feel left out and unfortunately he was successful at it.
