It was like throwing a twig into a bonfire.
"We need to keep moving," Eliana said, pulling at my arm. "Kazi won't stop at the main gate. He'll send the Sweepers."
"Sweepers?"
"Autonomous hunter-killer drones," she explained, her voice rising in panic. "Small. Fast. They are designed for tunnel warfare. They map, they track, and they detonate."
I forced myself to stand. My legs felt like lead pipes. "Which way?"
"I don't know," she admitted. "I can't see anything. It's pitch black."
