He didn't have much time. Jack ventured another glance back through the window. This time the office door was closed and dark. The light from the hall gleamed beneath it, reflecting off the tile floor of the office. He bit the middle finger of one static suction glove, removing it as he pulled his head to the side. He lay the naked hand against the cool glass and summoned the hot fire that coursed through his DNA. The glass started to glow red, orange, and then white hot. It melted away from his palm. He continued until the hole was big enough for his body and then pulled himself easily through. The noise canceling tech masked his movements as the molten glass dripped on the floor.

Bellissima walked to the mirror and turned her face slightly, it was red and swollen, luckily he had not bruised her or left fingerprints, still it hurt her so much that she fell and cried. “Have a good weekend.” I waved, but didn’t give him time to respond or talk about my rant. It calmed me, but the memories started trickling through the cracks Nathan had unknowingly created. It was almost painful for her to stop herself from watching that good-for-nothing memory. It’s as if she just dived in the deepest lake as she pulled herself away from the mirror. Before she could even balance herself, cracks started dancing their way to the mirror’s surface. It started from where her nose touched, linking all the way to its peak.
