The whole forest started to hum while she was talking, and a fierce wind seemed to rush at us. Soon I was struggling against a gathering tornado surrounding us both. White smoke suddenly filled the space, wrapping itself around her. The last thing I saw before she was smoldered in was a lopsided smirk. The tornado grew fiercer and fiercer until it suddenly fell into a hush. Dead silence. White smoke and then... Puff! The white smoke slowly faded out and standing before me wasn't the childish creature anymore. A beautiful lady with crystal clear blues and skin made of diamond floated towards me.

Bella’s chair so that it would explode the moment she sat down. “Three... two... one...” Zane whispered under his breath, his voice barely audible. Ms. Bella approached her desk, completely unaware of the glittery doom awaiting her. She smoothed her skirt, adjusted her chair, and— POOF! A shimmering storm of glitter erupted from beneath her seat, filling the air like a dazzling fireworks display. It sparkled in the morning sunlight, settling over Ms. Bella, her desk, and the surrounding floor in a radiant, glittering mess.

Luca nods, and Rafe glances at us like we’re all insane. “Watch now,” I murmur, a smirk pulling at my lip as my twin whirlwinds finally meet their quarry. There a flash of flame in the sky and a huge booming explosion before the darkness takes them. Rafe’s mouth falls open as the first chopper goes down and then the second, as my dark tornados twist in the air, almost reaching for the third and the fourth, pulling them into the swirling mass of punishing heat and consuming them at once, hurling the charred remains to the ground. My chest heaves a little as I keep the tornados out there turning, read for whatever is next – not because it’s hard or because I’m tired, but because I want more.

I heard his voice, until it got muffled by the sweeping sounds of the tornado, and I sensed something bad had happened. I couldn't run too far, cause it was extremely fast. Some branches swooped down, their tips kissing the water's surface, sending tiny ripples across the lake. The tree's branches also shimmered with a dazzling, glitter-like substance that sparkled and twinkled, as if infused with stardust. But what caught my attention was that this same glittery essence wasn't just limited to the tree, it was also suspended on the lake's surface.

The energy from the battle between Elara and Simon grew so intense that the sky above Silverthorne turned a dusky red. The thunderstorm began to flash uncontrollably, and every lightning bolt that hit the ground made the ruins of the city tremble, as if the old city was also feeling the tension that was overflowing between the two.
