I end up buying several cute keychains and a pink octopus plushie. We head to the next stall where they sell shirts with bold prints of the Tropical Thunder Circuit. Some designs show a racer mid-turn which I swear looks like Reed with its red and black color palette. Others have the race logo across the chest with tropical flowers wrapped around it. Evelyn holds up a shirt against me and squints like a stylist. I laugh and shove it back onto the rack. I can’t resist buying the black and red shirt before we move to the next stall.

"You can wear my clothes in the wardrobe." Gabby nodded, opening the wardrobe and choosing the clothes she should wear. She stood in front of the wardrobe, finally choosing a black T-shirt. She went into the bathroom. When she came out, she was wearing Adryan's oversized black T-shirt. The shirt was loose and reached her knees, covering her completely, but at the same time, it made her look very vulnerable and small.

Elise asked with a single eyebrow raised pointing at the Golem's head. "An armored golem of d-doom ready to bash some V-Vampire skulls?! Y-Yes! Y-Yes it is! HAHA!" And it's face looked like a bored straight faced animal that had never cracked a smile a day of it's life. Completed with a pair of whiskers.

In the middle of that square a small goblin like creature stood as if waiting for him. Ruben frowned, looking at his wrists and rotating them around rubbing them where the shackles had been. ‘Fuck, now the shackles are off I could go save Kat!’ He looked back up with a grimace, seeing the goblin walking towards him and recognised the creature as Lord Basille’s assistant and contract writer. “I need to go back.” Ruben demanded. The goblin shirked his shoulders in surprise and then nervously licked his reptilian-like lips. “Impossible…now is the time for summoning.”

Her mind raced through options before she opened the front door. Celina huddled her arms around her middle to fend off the cold and stepped to the edge of the porch. She didn’t say anything for a moment as she took in the sight of Gabe on the ladder. His sleeves were pushed up to his elbows, and he was wearing mustard-yellow gloves as he scraped the mushy leaves from the gutter. Light stubble covered his face and his eyes were shadowed beneath a Georgia Bulldogs cap that matched the red in his shirt. It was nice to see him dirty and unkempt. She was usually the disheveled one.

Gabe’s eyes roamed deliberately over every inch of my slightly damp body. “You want me, Gabe?” He said, voice husky, unbuttoning his shirt, “More than anything, Pumpkin!” “Then you’re not getting it!” I whispered mockingly. Good. I went down to the garage. The smell of oil and rubber was familiar and comforting. Toby was already there, standing by the workbench, running his hand over the cold metal of the engine I was rebuilding. He looked small in the large, industrial space. I locked the door behind me and engaged the deadbolt. The sound echoed like a gunshot. Toby turned around. His eyes were dark. "Strip," I said. He didn't hesitate. He pulled the t-shirt over his head, tossing it onto the concrete floor. Then he kicked off his shoes and unbuttoned his jeans. He slid them down, along with his underwear, stepping out of them.
