Pink colored divinity encircled the unstable concoction of the present binding magic, and then an angel appeared. The angel who acted on time possessed a beauty unmatched. Just as I was about to address the warriors, Angelica steps outside, and her golden locks of hair glisten in the sunlight, making her look like the Goddess she is. Reaching my hand towards her, I motioned for her to join me, as the pack needed to meet their Luna, that was blessed to them by the Moon Goddess. A sense of pride at that moment filled me, as she took my hand into hers, and we stood now in front of our pack, as their Alpha and Luna.

Angel whispered to my ears. The woman’s gaze was fixed on me. It seemed that she came here for me. Is that all? I asked Angel through mind-link. Angel’s eyes flickered before she added, "She’s Alpha Derek’s ex-girlfriend." Hum, I see. I mind-linked Angel. I crossed my arms and looked at this woman, wondering what she wanted to do. "You are his mate, right?" she walked toward me and asked. Yes, I mind-linked her. "Oh, right, you can’t talk. I should’ve felt happy for him. But it’s interesting that the Moon Goddess chose a mute girl for Alpha Derek," she sneered. It seemed that she bore a strong hostility toward me despite her efforts to conceal it.

The ancient crone arrived shrouded in veils, her milky eyes unseeing yet piercing. She placed gnarled hands on his chest, murmuring incantations. Torin stiffened as visions assaulted him—Lyra's power blooming, shadows claiming her, a rival's touch sealing his doom. The Oracle pulled back, face grim. "The bond frays, Alpha, but clings. If another male lays claim—touches her flesh as mate—you will wither and die. Her light will snuff yours." Torin's fists clenched, a roar building in his chest as the weight of his choice crashed down.

Angel directed his gaze to the snow-covered ground and smiled. “What?” Antonio Rufus exclaimed in shock. ‘Aah… well boss, I could have warned you but then… I’m just a slave,’ Angel thought in amusement. “---Let all these captives go, and take your men out of this island, and I may be persuaded to overlook the crime you have committed on these Weres—” the alpha Were was saying but then a voice sounded in his head and amazingly Angel could hear too! He gasped quietly, and his heartbeat increased pace. The hair on his skin bristled at the sheer force of the power that radiated from the alpha Were to him. Angel fixed his gaze on the alpha.

She stood, squashed by the rickety wooden fence as the others pushed into her, trying to get a better view of the action. It wasn't much of a fight, as they prepared to kill each of the combatants. The other combatants were all human or animal in form - so stood no real chance against the Alpha Gods they were up against. Miaka could have joined but thought it was safer to watch only, given her somewhat "delicate" condition. The baby in her belly would be born a God, but for now, he would remain safely inside the hole that was her womb when she had been a real woman.
