Gods Of Combat Novels & Stories

The Continental Covenant clearly states that the Church of the Gods will neither prevent nor participate in wars between nobles. It will not prevent them, because if there is no war, there will be no army, and if there is no war, how can the faith of the God of War spread? To forbid wars between nobles is to let the God of War fall, and if the gods dare to do so, the God of War will dare to take a few lives before he dies. Not taking part is, of course, to prevent a war between nobles from becoming a war between believers. However, no matter which noble occupies the other's territory, the beliefs of the original subjects cannot be forcibly changed.

I got my phone out my purse and went to text Latisha but saw she had already beaten me to it. Latisha: ‘So is Moscow packing?’ I laughed out loud at her text. Harper: ‘Yes definitely’ I pressed send and started to type another message as hers popped up. Jesus Latisha. Latisha: ‘He was good wasn’t he. I know he was good.’ I stepped into the ridiculously huge shower and turned the tap on. Standing back outside, I chuckled to my phone. Harper: ‘I squirted.’ Latisha: ‘Shut. The. Fuck. Up. Oh Harp you need to keep him ;)’

" Vis asked with a serious tone in his voice. "Well, then, let me say this to you — the God system was made by different High-Gods to determine the abilities of one in a million talents, that includes humans from Earth or Betsuno Orbis Terrarum, even creatures of different parallel worlds like elves, skeletons and others. The God system is something you say, 'The Heaven's blessing or the Hell's curse', in other words it is a, double-edged sword." "What? A double edged sword? Please explain yourself! "

It was the finale as they both gave it their all in this match. Swarms of chaos divines would somehow find the courage to hit them but before an attack could ever land, the mass of squirming flesh would vanish as if a picture forcefully erased from the canvas. The gods and immortals were definitely overwhelmed by the numbers of the chaos divines but their gas would never run out anytime soon. They can't be called gods and immortals if they had premature ejaculation of powers that fast. That would have been too much of a shame for them.

Then, he spat out another mouthful of blood and dropped to his knees. The entire crowd watching was stunned. Even Alfredo, Rupert, and Monty, who had already experienced Andrew's strength, felt cold sweat run down their backs as they watched the clash. Andrew had truly become a War God in every sense, and perhaps the only true War God in the entire Holtrien army. What was a War God? It referred to someone undefeated in battle. Jakob, the martial god from Divine Dragon Order, blurted out in disbelief, "Beyond Mortal! He has already stepped into the Beyond Mortal level, so that puts him on the same level as the three leaders."

Thomas was battling with Kyle, which meant Hilda had to take on Sonnia. Meanwhile, Rex charged at Michy with a sword. When the match started, Hilda ran around trying to dodge Sonnia's attacks while sneaking glances at Nathan and Linux' battle. How cool they were! In the game, Nathan was the golden armored God of War while Linux was the white robed swordsman. Both had their own merits and had different types of attacks. They exchanged a few blows and it was dazzling to watch. On the other hand, Kyle and Thomas were also equally matched. Truth was, it was difficult to tell one apart from the other.

Gods. They walked like mortals, clothed in simple garments, laughing, arguing, sparring. But their presence warped the air around them. I recognized a few from ancient records. The Sun God—Kareth, glowing from within like fire trapped in flesh—arguing with Anera, the Water Goddess, whose very steps left puddles of starlight behind her. They looked like regular people. But they weren’t. They moved like storms disguised in skin. I ducked behind a tree as their sparring turned violent—light meeting water, scorching the air, freezing the ground. No one else seemed bothered. Gods, apparently, solved disagreements by nearly incinerating each other.

Gods understood the kind of arithmetic where victory and loss were separated only by how much collateral one was willing to burn. Celeste was speaking his language now. And she knew it. The waves rose a little higher. The ocean was listening. Remy shifted his weight once, silent and ready. Ares noticed that too, but his eyes remained on Celeste. The war god’s attention had narrowed to a point, and the narrowing itself was dangerous. That was when gods became most violent: when they could no longer pretend the challenge was trivial. Celeste lifted her chin. She did not raise Hellebore.

… Meanwhile, in Dhord City, Caspian arrived at the King's residence in no time as he was already in Dhord City. The residence was heavily guarded with troops patrolling every corner. Caspian was spared the troublesome formalities before entering the mansion since he was the Diatoranian God of War. Meanwhile, within the King's residence, Diatoran's officers of various ranks had already gathered inside the hall. Diatoran had a total of five Gods of War. Aside from Caspian, the other four were more commonly referred to as Champions. They consisted of Keith Warren, the Champion of East Aridlands.

"No, he'll be too busy, so he might not be able to come over. However, he'll get one of the war gods to come over. He said that the four of them have made a breakthrough to warrior emperor. They'll have no problems killing Severin." Owen breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm glad to hear that. Any warrior emperor will be able to win against a level nine warrior king, even if that warrior emperor is only at level one. There's no doubt that a strong warrior emperor is as strong as seven or eight level nine warrior kings. Though there doesn't seem to be much difference in terms of strength, there's one thing separating the war gods from Severin—combat experience. All the war gods are incredibly exper
