In search of true heart

In search of true heart

They didn't have a quilt since they were in the forest, but Rajeev used some large leaves, branches, threads, and a few other items he picked up from surrounding trees to make a blanket. Gowthami was highly amazed after seeing all that Rajeev was doing. She even assists Rajeev at work. "Rajeev, you really did make a nice comforter out of these tree leaves." With the use of long tree leaves as threads, Rajeev created a total of four blankets. With a smirk, Rajeev ignored Gowthami's remarks and carried on with his task. Ram started to shudder after some time, as Rajeev had previously stated.

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

** Paige’s POV ** Light spills through the kitchen window, the smell of fresh coffee in the air. Poppy’s still sitting at the counter, a second cup of coffee cradled in her hands. Jaxon’s curled against me, finally wide awake and humming to himself as he plays with the edge of his blanket. My gaze drifts down to the blanket in his lap. The wool is thick, the pattern uneven and mismatched in a way that makes me think it was made with love rather than skill. I run a hand over it. It’s soft, the colour a faded blue with thin silver strands.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

this was the first story I read by this author. it was beautiful! I felt every emotion and got some crazy looks from my mate when I would start laughing or wiping my face because I shed some tears. it's definitely worth reading. I finished it in 2 days because I literally couldn't put it down

The Obsidian Covenant #1: The Rejected Mate's Ruin

You cannot break grief with a hammer. So, I improvised. I turned and walked to my room. It was a mess—a nest of things I had collected. Soft things. Shiny things. Things that felt good on the claws. I dug through my hoard. Too rough. Too loud. Too sharp. I found it at the bottom of my locker. A blanket made of thick, grey wool. It wasn't the silk of the Gala. It was heavy. It was warm. It smelled of safety. I grabbed it.
