Alpha Jared chimed in. "I second the motion," Alpha Oren said to my surprise. "I third the motion," Alpha Naral said. "I fourth," I chimed in. "Wait, no. you can't do that!" Aldous and Bernard exclaimed together. "It seems we just did," Alpha Jared chuckled. "I will alert the other packs the council is no more." He pulled out his phone. After a couple of minutes, everyone's phones dinged as the email was received. One by one packs across the world replied offering their applause that the council was no more.

"I always promise to encourage my pack, my Alpha, and children." Alpha Gideon cuts his palm with an extended claw, and I extend the oak chalice to catch the drops of blood. Maybe it’s the light of the moon playing tricks on my eyes, but when Alpha Gideon pulled his hand away, I thought I saw a faint green glow where he had cut his hand. I must have spun myself up so much I see things. Alpha Gideon steps back, and Sydney steps forward.

As they entered the Alpha’s office, Alpha Daedos’ eyes automatically flew to Daffodil then to Lexus, and then to their hands clutching each other. “Alpha Daedos, an apology for what happened a while ago. I have with me here Ms. Daffodil Marby, the missing Golden She-wolf.” Lexus said after bowing his head to their Alpha. Alpha Daedos looked at Daffodil with a wide smile now. “Ms. Daffodil Marby, nice meeting you,” he said while still looking at Daffodil.

It was the legendary Alpha Blade, known in Haven as The Ripper. "Hello." He said as he waved at the horrified crowd, then his deadly gaze fell on our Alpha. "Hi Dex, I hope you're having a good party." From the look on Dexter's face, I knew something really bad was going to happen. Dexter stood motionless as he stared viciously at The Ripper. "What are you doing here?" He finally found his voice to ask. The Ripper smiled. "I know I was meant to remain locked up in my room like we had planned earlier but then I was also supposed to be given my elixir, wasn't I?"

He slumped back onto the sofa as a wave of dizziness overtook him.

As we walk out of the office an alarm goes off. It’s the SOS. One of the packs in the Alliance is being attacked, and since Alpha Ryker is not rushing in the direction of his pack it can only mean Silver Moon is being attacked. In, what appears to be no time at all, the EAS is gathered in the gym.

Adolph said, “Unaccustomed to a vacation?” Her lips twitched, “You caught me.” He twined his fingers with hers and squeezed as they walked on towards an orchard of fruit trees. He reached up and snagged an apple before offering it to her and snagging his own. “Are we allowed to do that?” Adolph chuckled, “Of course. Just because they serve all the meals doesn’t mean other meals are prohibited. It’s encouraged to enjoy the bounty of the moon goddess after all.” Laurel nodded and bit into her apple before frowning. The color of the apple seemed familiar, but she couldn’t place where she’d seen such a uniquely golden apple.

Huxley grunted, everyone turned toward him with a disgusted face. "I didn't expect that to be viral." He said as if we caught him. "Go to the toilet." Eleanor groaned, pushing him out of his seat. "Alright, applebum." He winked. "I told you not to call me applebum!" She snarled. "Why is he calling her applebum?" Matteo, Max and Giovanni father, asked. "Because she has a mark formed like an apple on her butt." Peyton rolled his eyes. "Can we please stop talking about this?!" She said with embarrassment.
