Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Silas whispered, his gold-and-sapphire skin glowing with a soft, steady radiance. "It's 'Unread', Silas," Lyra replied, leaning her head against his shoulder. "And that's the best story I've ever heard." But as the peace settled over the family, a sudden, sharp vibration shook the ground. Not from the sky. Not from the mountain. From the "Genesis Gold" needle that Kaelen was still holding. The needle wasn't gold anymore. It was turning a solid, glowing "Author's Ink" black. Kaelen looked at his own reflection in the needle. He didn't see a boy. He saw a man standing in a room of infinite bookshelves.

The Empress and the Alpha

Even five elements would kill someone. My eyes landed on a large silver book. I pulled the book out and there was a rumbling in the shelf. Pulling the book revealed a secret compartment. I reached in and pulled out two gold books. I opened them to see familiar writing. It was my great grandfather's writing. I recognized his overdramatic G from seeing his signature from the treaty the Wanix and the Luan Pack signed. I dropped to the floor, flipping through the pages…

I love this book so much. I’m glad I was a beta reader because it’s even better than when I first read it. I love the dynamic between Zelda and her family/people - as well as her dynamic with Penn and Hunter. I can’t wait to keep reading!!

I thought Zelda would only be the funny one. I didn't expect it would be the same with Hunter. The way he was rejected and said that he would tell it to his parents was just hilarious lol. The humor of this book is not something to be missed. This book is a must-read for great entertainment. Awesome

"Julian Sterling gave his computer architecture to give you three minutes of time. Time is constant, Miss Vance. You can't write a book when the publisher has already cancelled the series." The headlights were then fifty yards away. The low predatory roar of the engine was deafening. It vibrated through the asphalt until the keys of her keyboard began to chatter against the frame. A-S-D-F-G-H-J-K. "The notebook, " Elara whispered, her eyes darting to the leather journal tucked into her waistband. It was soaked through, the edges of the pages swollen with rainwater. The gold ink she had written on the second page still glowed, a faint stubborn amber light pulsing through the leather.

He tried to read the titles of the books with his head to the side. She smiled, bookworm didn't quite fit his image, but it suited him. ‘Esmee is figuring out if there is also crocus in our version of the elixir,’ she said. ‘Crocus increases libido.’ ‘I never needed that,’ growled Raven from above.

He shuffled through every book, analysing each one before gently placing it down to examine the next. ‘Ev, if you tell me what book it is you’re looking for, I can help you find it.’ Slowly looking up at me, his head tilted to the side, ‘Amelia darling, it’s a book written by a werewolf hundreds of years ago. Respectfully, I highly doubt you’ll even know it by the name.’ ‘Try me,’ I shrugged. He smiled, looking down into the box, then locked eyes with me again, ‘Well, you may know one. I’m looking for a first edition of The Alpha’s Roar.’

"Within its pages lie the secrets you seek." Sable accepted the book with reverence, tracing her hand over the intricate golden engravings on its cover. As she opened it, a soft glow emanated from the pages, illuminating her face with a warm light. The figure smiled knowingly and spoke again. "In this book, you will find the knowledge and wisdom of those who came before you. It contains the essence of all that has been discovered and learned throughout history."

The Bookstore Temptation

Somewhere in the city—several stories above, in a steel and glass building—Julian Blackwood lay in his dark, sleek bedroom, staring at the book she had given him. He'd never intended to keep it. When Lena Carter had offered it to him—those gentle words, that thoughtful crease between her eyebrows—he'd intended to refuse. But something in her eyes had taken away his intention. It was neither flirting nor pretense. It was genuine. Silent. Generous. He hated kindness. It broke things open. Julian gazed down at the book. The cover was unadorned, the title in gold print: *A Man Called Ove*. He remembered Lena's words:
