The Billionaire's Golden cage

The Billionaire's Golden cage

I don't know why, but the more I get closer to the resort, the more my heart was getting nervous. I inhaled and exhaled a few times and continued my walk. Nestled within the heart of the pristine resort, the luxurious wedding hall stands as a testament to opulence and elegance. As soon as I stepped into this enchanting space, I felt I was transported to a realm of beauty and grandeur that perfectly complemented the natural splendor of the resort's surroundings. I wondered, Did I just travel to the heavens? Standing before the resort my eyes fell on the banner before me, Red Cross Wedding Hall. I have heard about it before, it was a place where even the wealthiest people in the city couldn't

The Weight of Gold

The Weight of Gold

“Nothing good is convenient.” She crossed the workshop floor — four steps over sawdust and the smell of linseed — and when she reached him she thought of all the things she had been given in her life that she had never chosen: the name, the estate, the topiary spheres, the obligation and the silverware and the seating chart. And she thought of Marlene’s coffee, dark and honest, and the bottle labeled ghost, and the way he had smiled at her in June as if she had said something genuinely funny, which she had.

Grandma's Golden Boy

Grandma's Golden Boy

"A few days ago… I had a dream. In it… In it, it showed me that Grandma and I poisoned you. You died. I even cursed you, saying that you were some feminazi who deserved it." His body began to tremble uncontrollably. "That wasn't a dream." I met his gaze calmly. "You did that in your past life." Ryder's eyes widened with incredulity. He sat there, frozen and stupefied by the revelation. The color drained from his face in an instant, leaving behind nothing but a deathly pallor. Despair, regret, pain—every emotion collided across his features before he hunched over in silence. He slipped from his chair and dropped to his knees with a dull thud. Across the table, he bowed his head heavily toward

The gold cage

The gold cage

She deliberately touched the necklace lovingly with her fingers, showing it off clearly right directly in front of my face. "Do you like my necklace, Alessandra?" Chloe asked mockingly and sweetly, tilting her head sideways arrogantly, enjoying every single second of what she believed was my pain and defeat. "Lucas gave it to me yesterday… he told me he bought it years ago, but he never really liked seeing it on someone else. He said it looks perfect, much better, and much more beautiful on me than it ever looked on anyone else… don't you agree?"

The Gilded Shackle: Rise of the Diamond Heiress

The Gilded Shackle: Rise of the Diamond Heiress

She took her wedding ring, a cheap silver band Julian had picked out in five minutes, and dropped it down the drain. The next night, the Gilded Academy was glowing. Every rich student was there, wearing clothes that cost more than a house. Julian stood on the stage with a microphone. Bianca was tucked under his arm, wearing a sparkling red dress. She looked like she had already won. "Everyone, listen up!" Julian called out. The room went quiet. "Tonight is about the future. And in my future, there is no room for shadows. I am officially announcing my divorce from Ivy Thorne. She was never one of us, and today, she is finally gone."

The Alpha’s Debt of Blood: The Unwanted Mate

The Alpha’s Debt of Blood: The Unwanted Mate

This was a place of old gods and older hungers. I lay stretched across the sacrificial altar, a massive slab of white quartz that stood in stark contrast to the black walls. The chains holding my wrists and ankles weren't silver; they were gold—heavy, ancient, and etched with runes that pulsed with a dull, rhythmic light. Silver was used to suppress a wolf, to poison and weaken. Gold, however, was a conductor. It didn't block my power; it drew it out, bleeding the Hallowed spark from my marrow like a slow leak in a dam.

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

Angel_of_Deathseducing my aunt
David answered shortly and true enough that was everything he knew about this trinket of his. "This is Tundra Gold. One of 882 identical pieces they delivered in a stone chest to Don Fabello himself. Blood money paid to stem the slaughter he wreaked upon them with his armies. But the Don's greed was insatiable and so the heathen gods placed upon the gold at terrible curse. Any mortal that removes even a single piece from that stone chest shall be punished for eternity. "I hardly believed in ghost stories anymore." Jace seemed to be only talking to himself but it was still loud enough for the captain to hear.

Mate to the Lycan king

Mate to the Lycan king

I endured the pain in my shoulder and whispered, "What's your name?" "Ruby!" " said the girl, as she bent her head and rummaged through Galen's armour for something. Suddenly she lifted up a golden object and looked at the sunlight, and the golden object burst into a dazzling yellow glow. "Gold!" Ruby said excitedly, "You can buy food!" " I looked closely at the gold coin in Ruby's hand, and saw that the design on it seemed to have been seen somewhere. So I asked Ruby curiously, "What is the pattern on the gold coin, can I see it?" "

The Golden Dragon's Princess

The Golden Dragon's Princess

I asked him. “The treasure has become scattered. Retrieve it.” I went into the tunnel and began collecting up the gold. What appeared to be a small scatter was misleading. There was a king’s ransom of coins and gemstones dislodged from the main pile. I gathered the pieces into my skirt. It seemed irreverent to simply pour the coins and stones onto the pile and I kept an eye on the golden-haired man as I did so. He did not look up from his book. The noise of them falling was impressive.

I loved this story that I did not want it to end. I would love to see Liera and Aurien's story continue from here although we do see snippets in your other books. I read this book often to remind myself that we all can fight through life's challenges with strength and determination. Thank you
Sarah.
I really loved the book, I wish there were more like it on this app. The characters are charming and the story is beautifully written, the premise makes me want to continue reading the other books. I hope there will be lots more like this one and maybe even longer
