Good Story Books Novels & Stories

I didn’t have much to do, or anything at all really, but talking about nothing isn’t really my style, at least not with my mom. Maybe I’ll go grab a bite. I wasn’t hungry, but staying home today wasn’t in my plans either. I’ll just go down to the Tasty Place Diner and hope some inspiration finds me. I grabbed my purse and headed out the door, turning back for my book on the kitchen counter; reading books will forever be my first love.

How you feel about the ending of both stories; basically, anything you wish to share pertaining to the book. This is the first bookstore I have been to, the books before were for learning, not stories. "Okay, how about telling me some books you have read and if you enjoyed them?" He looks at me waiting. "Yeah, see I haven't read stories. I read books that are to help you learn but never read purely for pleasure." "Okay, I have a few suggestions, follow me." He walks through and I follow, not missing Troy's eyes on me, while he has his phone in his hand. "Here, so, these are small books. Each one has short stories in, between one thousand and ten thousand words each story. Based on a specific genre." I watch as he picks up three and holds them out.

The Little Mermaid popped out at me, as did The Emperor's New Clothes, but I thought maybe a story that people are foolish in public wouldn’t be the best choice. Then I looked around some more and picked up Floca’s Moonshot: The Flight of Apollo 11, Lewis’s The Wolf, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and Dahl’s Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and a few others. I paused at the Harry Potter series, but while the girls were old enough, being werewolves, for the story, I knew the sizes of the books would put them off. Next year, I thought. They’d have handled textbooks by then and wouldn’t be so rapidly opposed to books an inch thick or more.

She pointed with her finger and ran it down these books looking for a particular cover. “I have been saving this story for the right moment.” She directed her son to sit in the chair and when he sat down, she gave him the book. It looked ordinary to him, but it was obviously special to her. “This is the story of a young man who found a friend while on a journey. It is called ‘The Tale of Meru’.” He looked surprised because he was half expecting another history lesson. “Are you sure you have the right book?” “Yes, Yvayn, I am. I am not as boring as you would like to think I am.”

“Quiet doesn’t mean unbothered. Just good at hiding it.” We fell into silence. The only sound was distant thunder rumbling above ground. I wondered how long we’d be down here. Minutes stretched. My mind wandered to how close he was. How alone we were. “Tell me something,” I said finally. “Why’d you become a librarian? You don’t seem like the type who likes being stuck behind a desk all day.” Mr. Kane exhaled softly. “Books don’t talk back. They don’t expect small talk. I like the order. And the stories. What about you? History major with a focus on obscure trade? That’s not common.”

I am aware that he is like looking at my face for a long time and is keep on glancing at me. “Ahmmnn a book entitled Wuthering Heights by Emily Bonte, Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens, and hemmnn Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.” I said as I look into the books there. “I see, those are rare books now since they are old and people nowadays don’t like sad and pure narration stories.” Henry said and I just nod. Henry is now helping me through the pile of books. It was almost 30 minutes yet we haven’t found one of the 3 books.
