He was trembling and on the verge of getting panic attack. Stopping the black Porsche just an inch away from him the driver gets out of the vehicle as if in a trance. "Come back to Tehran." He snarled on the face of Victor, his face purely white with an ugly black scar right on the middle of his forehead. He went to the switch board fixed to one of the pillars in the parking lot and put his finger into the socket. His body shook with passing electricity surprising Victor and he died on the spot.

My Boyfriend Is A Fictional Character

My Boyfriend Is A Fictional Character

all of us went quiet and I am imagining a crow leaving a white dot poop between us. It's awkward. I fake a groan and act like I was really scared, rubbing my shoulders in so-called fear, " Yeah, it's scary, I can feel my goosebumps now." " Yeah, me too, it makes me hungry." I eyed Patty who talks about hunger in times like this. Krisha agreed with us and just nodded like she was ng that we are. Patty's next and her horror story was so scary, that I almost fart on my seat. Her horror story was when she woke up in their house, no food are left on the fridge and she wasn't eating for the whole day until her parents arrived home scary right? I wish Sheena is here, she makes sense of horror stori

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

Nora concluded in a silk undertone. Impressed by her good storytelling skills, the kids applauded her as they glued their vote stickers on the voting pad. However, amongst the other kids, some people weren't impressed—Gina Adams and minions. "Oh, PUURLEES. . . This is the lamest scary story in the history of lame scary stories," Gina jeered loudly, her tone wielding the usual amount of obnoxity.

Allie
The writing was good. Interesting twists in the story. However, I got irritated when Doris was being immature. Love how 8 years old Nora and 4 years old Max acted and spoke mature. Hated that the transition between events was not always smooth and the wrong gender was used often. Nice, happy ending.

Short Scary Stories

In 1983 a Mrs Carson of New York was laid out in our coffin, presumed dead of hear disease. As mourners watched, she suddenly sat up, alive as you or I. Unfortunately her daughter dropped dead of fright on the spot. I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon. You can send me your short stories for a feature if you feel like it. Thanks for reading. Enjoy!I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. Risky Desires: Steamy Short Stories.

Thalia's POV. My eyes widened in horror the moment I heard that. Death? I knew I was going to die someday, but I never for once thought that I'd die by the hands of a criminal. That would be too much of a disgrace. I struggled to breath, my hands now clawing his big arm but Rocco didn't let go. His grin never faltered, even as he finger-fucked me. The sounds of his finger pushing back and forth echoing through the room, a reminder of how shameless I grew.

The Alpha's Unwanted Mate

The Alpha's Unwanted Mate

Kian's gaze finds me, and he extends his hand. "It's getting colder," he murmurs, a little cold in his tone. I stand and sit further from him, between Max and Doty, and they both smile at me. As the night went on, the guys told scary stories, which were really scary, like the horror films Mya makes me watch.

The Temptress: Tempting The Devil's Son

She didn't want to hear anymore of the frightening story. "Don't tell me you're all scared. It's a myth, I made it up!" John smirked, his eyes gazing at the scared faces of his girlfriend and friends. "Ha ha ha, scared? I've never been scared of anything in my life!" Rocky roared in laughter as he rose from the ground. "Scary stories don't scare me. I'm gonna pee!" He uttered still grinning. "Don't wander far into the woods, you never know who you'll meet." John warned in a playful but spooky voice.

GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS

GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS

I don't take it likely with people that come close to what belongs to me. "Nooo! Ah!" The voice cried out as he was being thrown into a pit full of pythons and scorpions. All his body was swollen up and dribbling liquids. "Nooo, Ahhh!" Chris kept crying out from his dream. His body was all covered in blood. "Wake up, baby," Isabella called on to him and began shaking him. "Please wake up. What's happening to him?" She cried out when he wouldn't budge. "HE'S BEEN TAKING TO THE DARK REALM," the spirits of nature said.

Frequently Asked Questions

One of the most chilling short stories I've ever read is 'The Lottery' by Shirley Jackson. At first, it seems like a quaint tale about a small-town tradition, but the slow build-up to the horrifying climax leaves you utterly shaken. The way Jackson subverts expectations by turning something mundane into a nightmare is masterful. Another favorite is 'The Tell-Tale Heart' by Edgar Allan Poe—the unreliable narrator's descent into madness is so visceral, you can almost hear the heartbeat under the floorboards. For something more modern, 'Click-Clack the Rattlebag' by Neil Gaiman packs a punch in just a few pages. The child's innocent questions take a dark turn, and the ending lingers like a shadow.

I also love 'I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream' by Harlan Ellison, a dystopian horror that feels like a fever dream. The concept of an AI torturing the last humans is terrifying, especially with Ellison's grotesque imagery. On the lighter side (if you can call it that), 'The Monkey's Paw' by W.W. Jacobs is a classic for a reason—its lesson about unintended consequences still haunts me. Sometimes, the shortest stories leave the deepest scars.
