Just from the name, it felt like this person lacked talent.

Joy smiled, as she finished her brief summary of the book. "Wow. I am speechless. What later happened? Did he give in or disciplined himself?" Under the book title, there were word too that said, 'a funny book about terrible things' written in smaller font, while the author's name was Jenny Lawson.

Dangerous territory. When we were done, Goof threw everything away for me. I noticed the second bag wasn’t touched. When I asked about it Goof told me that is was extra for me to take for lunch tomorrow. See, super sweet. We got comfortable on the couch. I wandered through the aisles, running my fingers along the spines, feeling a sense of belonging I hadn't felt in a long time. I spent the whole day there, completely lost among the books, reading story after story until I lost track of time. One book caught my attention "The Adventures of Sir Flufftail" a ridiculous but absolutely hilarious story about a brave and very dramatic rabbit knight who went on quests to save stolen carrot cakes from mischievous squirrels.

As I hurry back down the corridor, I see Gavin, our publisher, at the far end. He’s ushering an unmistakable forty-inch waist into the lift. As I’m watching, the Gruffalo turns and flashes a menacing anti-smile at me. He holds up four stubby fingers and is still doing so as the doors close.

My first stop was the romance section, hoping to find a few good books to take back to my room for some relaxing reading. As I scanned the titles, one in particular caught my eye: The Toad and Her Man. The title alone made me burst into laughter. It was so absurdly funny that I couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought of what the story might entail. I decided to add it to my growing stack of books.

The ladies all giggle and Julie stands, handing a new bookmark to each of us. "Yes. We figured we'd get you ones that suited you a little better." she says. The new one is dark blue with gold lettering that says 'Real men read dirty books'. I smile and look over at Ev who's showing Harper his excitedly. "These are great. Thank you."
