Graphic Novel Comic Novels & Stories

* Note: more detailed There are a lot of things going on right now. A friend of mine and I have been discussing it for a while and we decided that we might make it into a graphic novel instead albeit with a change in story and plot for storytelling purposes as well as a couple other things. Personally, I think this story might turn out better as a graphic novel rather than a ordinary novel anyway but I'm not completely out of the woods yet. Right now, my friend who is an artist, is currently on the works of making the cover. Despite giving him details, he doesn't know about the secret/spoiler in the cover. I would've done it myself but I suck at art in general. Also, we need more people work

Hair products were on the nightstand, while notebooks covered another table. His eye was drawn to a colorful drawing. As he approached the table, he saw that the notebook was full of drawings. Not just drawings—some kind of graphic novel? He began to flip through the notebook. He was hardly some graphic novel enthusiast—he hadn’t read a comic since he’d been a kid—but he could see talent in the drawings. The strokes of the pencil, the light and shadow, it all seemed to reflect Thea as a person. When he came to one passage, he even chuckled at the dialogue.

"It's weird, I know. But sometimes you just have to run with an idea. That's the spirit of doodling." "Have you ever thought about making a comic? Or a graphic novel?" He's still studying my journal. "This might even work as an illustration for a children's book." I pull my notebook back. "Oh, no. This is just a doodle. For comics or even children's books, you need an actual story. Like you told me once before, sometimes you have to know where your true talent lies. And where it doesn't." I quickly close my journal and tuck it under my towel.

I couldn't control my excitement and curiosity anymore. "Yeah, it's called Rainy days. But recently I don't know what the author is doing. The story is turning crappy and I'm losing intrest in drawing." "Oh, then why don't you write a story yourself?" He shakes his head. "I'm not good at that." "Then recommend me any of the good comics you've drawn." "Uhm..there's one romance comic called Fireflies. But it's a bit long and the plot is more like that of a manga's."

When I reached out to Marissa, she happened to be in need of money. I transferred double the amount she requested and said, "Keep the extra to use as needed. I'm hiring you to create a graphic novel for me. Do a good job of it." I sent her the plot that I stayed up all night crafting. Once she read the story outline, she texted me, "This is incredible! You're a genius! Why don't you consider turning it into a traditional novel instead?"
