wow. "Wow. When Mr. Gray brought in his brother last week they said his wife was in labor," I say as I remove the cuff and jot down her blood pressure. "Yes. Tabitha had her daughter last week and then Mariah had her daughter two days ago. It has been a busy week for all of us... It's so strange to hear someone call Fin Mr. Gray," Carmen says with a giggle, and my smile grows. So his nickname is Fin. The carefree-sounding name doesn't fit his stoic persona at all, in my opinion. Mr. Gray sounds more suitable. Then again, when he had spoken to her, he had sounded gentle and kind. Maybe he gets that from being a dad.

Then Simon Briggs turns and walks back toward his van. As Briggs reaches for the handle to open the door, I see Gray lift his hand from his pocket and raise a gun. I draw in a hard breath and grip the wheel. With a single, silent shot, Briggs’s head explodes in a red cloud and he crumbles to the ground. Gray walks over to the body and fires again, retrieves the duffel bag, and walks calmly back to the car and gets inside. His vehicle rumbles to life, and he drives away with as little hurry as if he’s just picked up a carton of milk at the convenience store and is heading home.

"So... I guess you're proof that people can change, huh? You used to be terrible back in the day... a party boy willing to drug others so that you could have a good time." Grayson grimaces. "I won't ever ask for your forgiveness. What I've done to you is horrible, and I know I won't ever be able to make it up to you." He says, looking at Rina. "I was a man-child without a ground. Rina is the one who helped me change." He looks back at Daisy and then dips his head. "Your son is an amazing young man... bright and a fast learner. You must be proud."

If it turns out that he has genuinely contracted a cold, then you can blame that guy, Ryan Dixon, all on your own! No one answered, I felt Greyson and Corinthians. I don’t know what’s going on with them anymore, but I’m sure they’re both suffering now. And Greyson, he just lost his all time partner. We get stopped by almost everyone, them congratulating the both of us. "Man you didn't tell me you were engaged!" A guy, around Leon's age stops the both of us. Leon unwraps his arm from around me and does a little bro hug with the guy. He pulls away and puts his arm back around my waist. "Oh I'm Grayson Black." He isn't a bad looking guy either. His light brown hair is spiked up in the front with gel, a stubble that is similar to Leon's, and baby blue eyes.

He didn’t want to care. He didn’t want to feel anything for her anymore. But he did. And that was the worst part. The door clicked open again, and Rick peeked inside. "Sir? Is everything okay?" Grayson turned, his face hardening. "I’m fine," he snapped, sharper than he meant to. Rick nodded quickly and backed out, closing the door again without another word. Grayson sat back down, his body heavy like a weight was pressing down on him. He rubbed his face, letting out a shaky breath.

A little gasp left Oscar’s lips and I assured my gorgeous fiance by kissing the side of his neck and moving my hand back under his sweatpants. “Zal...” A little protest leaves his lips, but then his breath hitched when he sees Rigg’s cheeks flushed pink. “It’s okay baby, it’s Riggs.
