The Hunter and the Rogue Alpha

The Hunter and the Rogue Alpha

Willow frowned at him, "I'm sorry, but Witchcraft and all that isn't my specialty." "No, it's alright. I was a bit confused at first myself." Willow smiled lightly before she looked back at Amira, "Artemis is the Greek Goddess of the Hunt, but the Romans identified with her of the name Diana." She holds up three fingers, "She's part of the triple Goddess with Selene or Luna in Roman and Hecate." She lowered her hand, "And yet it was Artemis that you came across?"

Surrogate For The Mysterious Alpha

Surrogate For The Mysterious Alpha

Athena. The fact that I had a thing for Greek mythology made it easier for me to fall in love with the name more when I got to know the meaning. I had asked her one time why she didn't give me a name that was in the mythology. She said she gave birth to me in the early hours of the money when the sun was very sharp and beautiful so she'd went with the flow. She started talking and i heard some terms that those men had used then. Alpha. Mate.

Mr CEO’s Little Heartthrob

Mr CEO’s Little Heartthrob

“Well, Alphecca is linked to my name. It is said that a one time Minoan princess named Ariadne adores this particular star. She regarded this star as a gem and had it in the most unique spot on her crown. Hence, Alphecca is known as the jewel in Ariadne’s crown.” “It’s so pretty, don’t you think so?” “Just look at how it outshines the other stars in the same constellation as her” she remarked. “Her?” Denver widened his eyes at her audacious attempt at allocating a gender to a star. A STAR. “Of course. She’s pretty. And she can only be female. Females are more prettier than males always”

Brenna interrupted. "—and now you're saying you've got nothing?" Helena, who had come with a notebook entitled 'Names That Change the World', brandished it like a banner. "I've practiced for this. Top of the list are: Astrid, Cordelia, Juniper, Persephone— "She's not a Greek goddess," Brenna complained. "She could be," Helena replied. "Have you seen her eyelashes?" Lily ignored them both, never once taking her gaze from Vandaulf. "Seriously, love. This is your moment. What's her name?"

LOVE IN THE DARK

LOVE IN THE DARK

Finding a smile, she offered it to Theo with an outstretched hand. “‘Kalispera’, Theo,” (Greek for ‘good afternoon’) she greeted him, as warmly as she could. “‘Pos ise’?” (Greek for ‘How are you?’) “Kalispera... Mrs. Leventis. ‘Ta páo kalá’” (I’m doing well). Hearing her talking in Greek, made Theo beam a smile back at her, then went off into a rush of Greek which forced Electa to angle a helpless look up at Adrastos.

I enjoyed this book. I first thought I would hate Adrastos...well, I will let you read to find out about him. There is heartbreak and a love story that crept along like a winding path with the ultimate acceptance of that love at the end. You can always count on Emma Swan to deliver a HEA ...

Wow another wonderful novel. I read without knowing who writer was but I can tell after 2 minutes, love your style how you write it, beautiful. Also not long length/thousand chapters and I love that all of your novels aren't violence/too drama. Highly recommended.

"You know everything about your name?" I nodded yes. "What does your name mean?" "Victory of the people." I answered. "Very nice. What origin?" Why was she bombarding me with questions about my name? "Greek." I looked at Emmet for help. "Mom, don't scare my guest." Jane waved a hand at her face. "What? I just want to make sure she knows the meaning of her name." She shrugged. "So, I heard your name is connected to Nicolas." "Yes." I scratched my hair. "Nicole was derived from the Greek, masculine name Nicolas."
