Chapter 1: Call from a Stranger

Amy's POV

Amy sighed in pleasure as she popped another pop corn into her mouth, 

she's out to see a movie with the "girls" again as usual, being the Owner of her own Little Business, she deals in old Antiques

she has only Thursdays off and she has dedicated her Thursdays to her two Nieces, known as the girls or the twins to all the family members,

 she has been doing this for the past two years and she is of course satisfied, but now she suddenly wants more, 

she wants her own child who she could love without their parents getting worried that she's getting attached to them, 

not that she can't adopt  but it seems too impersonal that way, she could actually go for insemination but she can't and won't give birth to a child that she doesn't know the father's character and background and she can't possibly deal with something she doesn't know, that's why she has applied for a baby father, she hopes the Agency finds one soon, she's not getting any younger....

"Aunty, Aunty!" Klara one of the girls shouted over the sound of the theater 

"Yes darling?" I replied with a smile, can't believe I let myself get carried away right here,

"Your phone is ringing Aunty" Clara the ever quiet one out of the two said to me.

"Thanks Darlings" I told the 5 year olds with a gentle smile, I stared at the screen of the phone, now what?, I hope they've finally found someone for me not some loser like the one from the last, I couldn't stand him.

"Anika, I'll just be a minute" I told the girls' mother,

"Sorry" I whispered as I stepped over people's toes as I tried to leave the room

"Hey watch it" A man frowned at me.

"Don't know what she's goin' around lookin' for" Another said, 

by the the time I stepped outside and clicked the Receive button, I was really Annoyed.

I should have left the phone at home, then I wouldn't...

"Hello?"

"Amy Charles on the line."

"Ms Charles?" A male voice said.

"Yes, Speaking" I replied, I was already feeling irritated.

"What's your name?" I asked straight up, I couldn't wait around for the godforsaken loser to annoy me further

"Uhn"

"Don't you have a name?"

"Well then, if you don't have a name, I guess it's good bye" I said curtly

"Wait, don't drop the call" the Man said at last.

"Well?"

"My name is Cole McCoy and I called to..."

"I know why you called, you called to see if you could try your luck, fine by me, but there's one thing you don't know about me Mr...."

"McCoy" He supplied his last name.

"I don't like wasting my time, especially not on losers" I said angrily, such a waste of time.

"Listen to me Ma'am, I'm really sorry if you think I'm wasting your time...."

"You should be sorry, and I'm glad you realize you're wasting my time" I said, I hanged the call and walked back to the theater.

"Shut the damn phone up" A lady yelled at me as I entered.

"Sorry" I mouthed to the lady.

"Motherfucker" I whispered under my breath as I stepped out again

I checked the caller and realized it was the same person calling again. Wtf

Some peeps really love trouble.

"Look Mister, I'm not interested OK?, so would you please stop calling me!" I said into the phone furiously.

"I promise you, I'll make it worth your time" He said Urgently.

"Oh really?, look even if I'm desperate, it doesn't mean, I'll settle for...."

"Just give it a chance please" He pleaded softly, I caught a tone in his voice.

Desperation?, Maybe he's desperate to have the money just like I'm desperate to have a baby, and who knows?, he might Be perfect, why don't I give it a try?

It wouldn't hurt anyone after all, and as soon as I see he's no good, I'll send him on his way.

"Fine, if you're really that desperate, then take the first flight down here tomorrow Morning" I heaved a heavy sigh, there, I've done it, I've said the words and my fate might really be sealed this time around.

"Pardon?" He said, didn't he hear what I just said?

"I said if you really want it that much, then come here and prove to me you're not a waste of time, mind you, you might want to get some tests done before you come here, get them done, I want to know if you're fit" I said irritated, I was beginning to feel as if I made a mistake by giving him a chance.

"Ohhk, but I don't know where you live...."

"Get my Address from the Agency, you're not that dumb are you?" I said and dropped the call, I hope he doesn't bother me again.

"Amy, I have to leave" Anika bust through the door with the twins as I got to the door.

"Hey what's up?" I asked, she looks worried.

"It's James, Something went wrong at work, he got injured, they're taking him to a hospital, his Boss called me" Anika said as broke into a sob.

"Mummy, what's wrong with Daddy?" Clara with the C, tugged on her Mother's hand gently.

"Nothing Rainbow, daddy's fine" I smiled at her, as I rubbed her head.

"Can they please....."

"Yeah, they can stay with me, I'm surprised you asked" I frowned at her.

"Thanks Sis" She said and hugged me hurriedly.

"Yeah go take care of your man, I'll look after this Rebels in the main time." I smiled at the Kids.

"It's just for a night, I promise" She pecked their cheeks and hurried away.

"It's not like you ever keep your promise anyways" I muttered under my breath.

"So girls, it looks like, you're gonna stay with your favorite Aunt tonight" I tried to say the words cheerfully, don't get me wrong,

 I love it when the kids spends time with me, but the problem is Anita, trust her to blame me if one of the girls comes up with a headache or tummy ache, I guess I'm in for it this time.

And what about My prospective Baby Father?, if my brain still works accurately, I remember telling him to be here by tomorrow, well I guess I'll have to deal with the situation as it seem fit.

The lady sure has some blasted guts!, I mean who talks to a client like that?, the Agency must be nuts for recommending her, well since she's the best they could find, I guess I'll have to make do with her.

And why do I even need to be in Lakefront before she finds my piece?

Why do I even need to get tests done?

What a crazy lady!.

"Hello Mira" I said immediately my secretary picked the receiver.

"Get my Plane tickets to Lakefront, 7 am"

"And yes, get my health results from Dr Clay, I want it before I get on board."

7:15 (Lakefront airport)

I had to wait for an hour before she finally showed up in a green Ford, 

At first I didn't recognize her, she was a little bit different from the picture.

"Ms Charles?" I inquired politely and she drew nearer, she wore red crop top and a tight fitting jean shorts and a running shoe, her lips were painted dark red and she had a sun glass on.

"Yes?, are you Mr....." She left the statement hanging on purpose.

"Cole McCoy" I smiled gently as I stretched my hand to shake her,

 She removed her Sun glasses and stared at my hand, she lifted her gaze to my face.

Her eyes were color of the Ocean, they was blue and clear.

"You have lovely eyes, but it doesn't look like you had much sleep either" I said smiling softly.

Guess I shouldn't have said that, even though they're lovely, her eyes could kill.
