War on my Heart

War on my Heart

"You've always been very interested in what Hecate is up to, haven't you? I'm sure not knowing these past three years would have killed you, had you not been immortal." Aphrodite. Goddess of Love. I recall, and although I can't explain it, my nose wrinkles distastefully at the sight of her, and my heart tugs with something akin to dislike. Aphrodite tilts her head back and laughs sweetly, though I have a feeling she's anything but. "Oh, on the contrary, Hera. I must say, it's been lovely having Ares warm my bed these past few years. You don't mind, do you, Hecate?" She adds innocently, her eyes wide. "I know things ended on a...sour note with you two, but I hope there's no hard feelings."

Mother Took Revenge on the King of the Gods for Me

Mother Took Revenge on the King of the Gods for Me

He looked at her the way a man looks at some old ornament he has tired of but cannot quite bring himself to throw away. “Semele, she is dead,” he said. “Stop tormenting yourself.” “I have already raised her to the rank of nymph. I have kept a place for her on the Isles of the Blessed. I gave her the best of everything. Hebe lived in a side hall while she breathed; in death she sleeps among the blessed. What more could you want?”

From Apollo’s Betrayed Bride to Hades’ Queen

From Apollo’s Betrayed Bride to Hades’ Queen

The scandal rippled through the heavens until, as she had hoped, it reached the throne of Zeus, King of the Gods. In the hallowed halls of Olympus, Zeus looked down from his throne at the weeping, prostrate Cassandra, then to the dark, thunderous expression on Apollo's face. "Apollo," Zeus's voice rumbled, "the laws of the divine cannot be defied. A sacred bloodline must not be cast aside or born in shame. You will marry her. You will give this child a name and a legitimate place." Hearing this, a look of ecstatic triumph flashed in Cassandra’s eyes.

The Goddess' Vessel

The Goddess' Vessel

Not today. I closed my eyes. "Nathan, she possesses the power of the Moon Goddess. She needs to be inside right now!" His eyelids flickered for a second and he glanced at her. "No way!" He shook his head. "She's the moon wolf?!" He pointed at her. "Yes listen, Nathan—" "Are you stupid? I thought you were bringing in strays again, but you brought this dangerous hybrid to our doorstep?!" The veins at his neck bulged, threatening to tear out of his flesh.

Bound To The Cursed Alpha King

Bound To The Cursed Alpha King

As Selene, Venus, and Hera turned from their watch over the mortal realm, a subtle shift stirred the very fabric of the heavens. A thunderous pulse rolled through the gardens, not angry, but commanding, and moments later, Zeus himself appeared, a towering figure cloaked in the crackling energy of storms. His presence alone made the marble beneath them hum, his eagle-topped scepter gleaming in his hand. Following close behind him were two others... Astraea, the Goddess of Justice, her golden scales glinting with divine balance, and Hecate, the Goddess of Magic and Crossroads, her black robes swirling with shadows and stars.

Fateful Collision

Fateful Collision

Rama purred softly as he dozed off on the couch's curved back, where he had curled up to sleep. Raquel cast her eyes around the room and admired the paintings that hung on the walls as well as the figurines of the goddesses Morrigan, Hathor, and Vesta that adorned the mantel. Morrigan was the goddess of war and sorcery, while Hathor was the goddess of cunning. Vesta was the goddess of fire. The statue of Hecate, the Greek goddess of magic, which was almost as tall as she was and stood in the alcove next to the fireplace, was her favorite piece. It was good to be back in my own home. She had washed for a quarter of an hour, trying to wash away the stench of the Graysons' cellar as well as the

The Goddess Of Luna

The Goddess Of Luna

A beast that could perform magic spells that made her mute and had now transformed to emerge as the most beautiful man she had ever seen in the seventeen years of her life. With lush golden blonde hair that starkly resembled his beast fur, his eyebrows were slightly thick, his mariner blue eyes were almond shaped, a-dazzle with wonder and a sense of imperiality. They shone brightly like two blue topaz splashed into a sparkling spring and he carried a Greeek nose with fairly plump lips. Arya didn't understand how an ugly barbaric beast could suddenly become a demi-god. 'Was that humanly possible? What exactly was going on?' she thought as she stared at the now astonishingly beautiful Amaris.

The Last Heiress Of The Underworld

I was busy looking around when someone talked behind me. "Hello princess" Someone said. I turned around and I saw a 4 beautiful woman and a 2 handsome man. She beamed proudly. All the young women talked to Damen for what seemed like an eternity. Then there were Oceanides. "Their name has the ocean in it but they have nothing to do with the seas unless we have parties of course; they are the nymphs of freshwater; daughters of Oceanus and Tethys." "Is Poseidon going to be here? "Nah, he only attends major religious festivals and is busy the rest of the time. Pontus and Thalassa are barely here as well."

I didn’t see that coming in chapter 80. I know why it had to happen this way and how it’s going to pay off but I really loved reading their little side story and feel sad that it ended and he will be grieving. It’s one of the best redemption arcs and would like to read more about him.

I just started reading this and it's actually the only story I've actually read on this app! (I mainly use it to check on my own stories, and to find out what those are search Christy Pfeiffer in the search bar!!) So far so good! I felt bad for the heroine as her boyfriend dumped her 😔

The Destroyer

The Destroyer

Far as I'm concerned, Oracles only cause trouble. "Short of asking The Zeus, they're the closest beings to omnipresent in Olympus." she shrugged. "I'm not asking The Zeus. He wouldn't come here or reply if I wrote to him. He only cares for his daughters, Lady Persephone and Lady Natasia, great-great-granddaughter Lady Faith, and great-great-grandson Dio. And maybe Lord Eros." I sighed. Dio can call me family all he likes but The Zeus will never see me that way.

A very good read but the ending was suddenly abrupt. After not having an update for longer than normal, I came to check the comments to see if others were clamoring for updates only to see that the story status now said completed. That said, I hope to see other stories set in this world.

What a brilliant and enjoyable read. Fantastic characters, great storyline, definitely a book I could not put down and would happily keep reading if there were more chapters! Looking forward to reading a sequel very soon in the future, thank you author!
