Greek Gods Janus Novels & Stories

I felt a whimper come from me as I sat and watched Hela speak. 'What is your name pup?' 'J...J...Janus mumma.' He said. 'Janus, my sweet boy, I know you are early, but this is a gift from the Goddess for you, it means you are special in your own right.' 'Bu...but w...why?'

And that’s what we were banking on. Travis was still here, inside me, part of me forever and I loved that. But now was my time. When Lamia brought me back from the dead that fateful night my spirit ripped and tore and when put back together it was Travis who became my counterpart and my true self emerged gradually and slowly. I am Janus. The god with two faces. The gatekeeper. The guardian between realms. And the dagger is a key. One of many. Zipping my bag up and throwing it over my shoulder, I brush past Josiah and head to my office. Josiah follows me and there we find Oliver and Petra waiting patiently.

A man in thight cotton armour that seemed to sprout plants sat in the middle, jason approached slowly, he raised his head at jason, eyes as green as the forests and the black of his eye as dark as the fertile soil, "I've awaited your arrival for years ikir" he said in a rich voice, Jason could only nod in reply, this man resonated power, not as much as illummino but enough to give a soul the vibes. He stood up and gave a quick bow, "My mistake ikir, I am loathem, the god of the earth and all its produce" he said, Jason raised an eye brow, he thought only illummino was a god, "Oh no my king, there are hundreds of gods that create Aratia, some swore allegiance to illummino while others to the

The distorted object at her hands floated freely in the distance, only to hover gently at the chest portion of old man Janus. "Thank you, Senior!" Janus kowtowed once more. Due respect in action and play. A thing that was very much inherently expected from a lower existence such as him. "Go and I hope that fortune may find your quest someday." the nameless goddess smiled as she waved her hand across in dismissal. Janus nodded and left without another word nor granted another look at his fellow apprentice. His junior apprentice had chosen her own path and he can only give an abundant respect to what she had already decided.

Why did he have to be so insanely handsome? "Some are. Some were created. There is actually a grain of truth in those greek tales you've read. I am one of the birthed ones. My parents were Janus and Mera. The god of portals and beginnings and the black hound goddess, also known as the goddess of darkness and terror," he said with a calm and unbothered tone, taking another sip from his glass. "They've both moved on to their celestial cycles," he added with a shrug and her brows furrowed, remembering what miss Nancy had told her about them. Their so-called deaths, along with his wife's.

"Because of you? What do you mean?" Jan sat captivated before his father, who fixed his gaze on him, exhaled deeply, and began to disclose the tale of his parents. They were Archons, but not of royal lineage; they did not hold the status of Major Archons. Instead, they served the gods, occupying a lower rank. Despite this, they wielded significant power and held esteemed positions due to the divine favour bestowed upon them by their deities. Unsatisfied with his station, Honoré yearned for more. He aspired to ascend to the rank of a true Major Archon, free from subservience. To achieve this, he endeavoured to win the affections of the daughter of another Major Archon, who happened to be Jan'

Still, they kept watching each other. Zeus was lord of the sky once again, but his wife also bore him three other gods: Ares, the god of war, Hephaestus, the smith-god, forger of weapons, and Eris, goddess of chaos and discord, who shrieks beside Ares in his battle chariot. The rest of Zeus's children were born out of wedlock. Three of them entered the Pantheon later.

Jessa smiled at them, but I instantly noted the stress lines and the way they clenched their hands. “What happened?” I asked, standing. Cassian moved to Jessa’s side and put an arm around her shoulders. “An Omega named Gilmore was found dead an hour ago. No sign of injury except for a symbol drawn into his forehead with blood. Quinn found the body. He says he’s done research, and it’s a symbol of the ancient goddess of Juno.” “Juno?” Jessa repeated, her eyes widening. Jarek took over. “She was apparently a goddess of mothers and maternity as well as a war goddess that brought death and destruction. The month of Jessa is named for her.”

he drawled in his thick English accent as his legs kept me trapped next to his body. I struggled to avoid his eyes, the warmth pooling in between my legs and I felt a certain wetness begin running down my thighs slowly, "continue taunting me, my Aphrodite, I shall fall into your trap each time you do because I am a man who wants nothing more than just you," he bit his bottom lip and then ran his tongue over it, "but I will let you know this," he paused as he leaned in, his face again inches from mine, "I never forget. So for each taunt, I shall punish you for it and you will love every moment of the punishment."
