Shadow Pack

Shadow Pack

Damien had sent her home last night and he stayed for a while as they lay on the bed, hands intertwined while he was speaking about the traditions and the legend of the werewolves in Paphos. It all started with the Greeks that sailed to escape the cruel regime of Alexander the Great during Ancient Greece where he despised the Greeks that have been blessed by the Moon Goddess to have the super-strength of 100 men as well as how they could be the best soldiers in the army. After discovering that they did not worship the same gods and goddesses, Alexander asked for their executions until none of them survived. But thankfully, some of the special Greeks went away from their clutches and were abl

Secretly Married

Secretly Married

I asked her and her brows furrowed. "Isn't she that girl from the Greek mythology or something?" she whispered and I nodded. "There are a lot of stories about her. They say she was the first mortal woman. Zeus gave her a jar containing all of the troubles and ills that mankind now knows, and told her not to open it, but she did," I told her and she waited for me to continue. "I think you're like Pandora," I stated and her eyes widened. "You think I bring evil or something?" she exclaimed and I pull her even more, my eyes glinted with mischievousness.

This story is enchanting, at the same time you need to know what’s next all the time . Such great twists and turns . I loved how you still didn’t say about whether or not if she was pregnant until the end . Such good a great plot and good writing

I enjoyed this book. I don’t know how much of the current “idols” are experiencing this in real life, having to sign contracts for a “no dating ban” but that kinda sucks. I hope there will be follow up books on the other pairs and some glimpses of Zaya and Seth’s future.

Darkrise: Dawn of Darkness

Darkrise: Dawn of Darkness

Hugo asked. "Well, the greek gods created Pandora as an act of vengeance for the men who stole fire from them. Hephaestus created her from the earth, Athena clothed her, Apollo gave her musical prowess, and Aphrodite made her irresistible among men. She was beautiful, talented, and guileful." "Very good, little miss. You retained the greek mythology that your late grandfather used to tell you,” Hugo praised. "Why are you asking about Pandora?" I continued.

The True Nature Series

The True Nature Series

MY FOURTH GRADE TEACHER had been a fan of Greek mythology and he'd told us many of their stories. "I think so," I said, trying to mentally calculate how long this conversation needed to be to convince Dad we'd had our little heart-to-heart conversation. "It has something to do with curiosity, right?" "You're correct, Tru. It starts out as an origin story, explaining how humans came to this earth." I picked at my nails absently. "Like Adam and Eve?"

After Forgetting Me, My CEO Ex-husband Regrets

After Forgetting Me, My CEO Ex-husband Regrets

The kids were fascinated, hanging on every word as he spoke about the ancient gods and goddesses of Greek mythology. I could see their eyes widen when he mentioned the stories of Hercules, Odysseus, and Athena. I had always loved Greek mythology, but seeing it through their eyes, hearing them ask questions about the gods and their epic feats, made the whole experience feel magical. We wandered through the site, the remnants of what once had been magnificent temples and courtyards, now reduced to ruins. It was humbling, in a way. The guide spoke of the gods’ trials, how they had faced challenges greater than any mortal could ever imagine, yet they overcame them through strength, intelligence,

The Baron's Cold Proposal

The Baron's Cold Proposal

It felt a perfect fit and he had slept every night holding her in that position, nestled together. Felix also taught Athena further on Roman and Greek mythology, including pointing out the different types of nymphs that were sneakily hidden in and amongst the mosaics depicting friendly woodland scenes. These were beings who lived to tease and manipulate humans and gods, sometimes falling in love with them, sometimes chasing them to the ends of the earth to capture the man they wanted.

A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)

Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!

Pheonix suggested and everyone turned to look at him. “Who is the Lord of the revival” Valerie asked quite confused by the name. “Well then, why don’t you all settle down and listen to this ancient tale of the lord of the revival’s adventure” Pheonix announced. “Theseus, great hero of Attic legend, son of Aegeus, king of Athens, and Aethra, daughter of Pittheus, king of Troezen in Argolis, or of the sea god, Poseidon, and Aethra. The Path Less Traveled

The Path Less Traveled

Zeus was the oldest, then Ares and finally Eros. Yes I know we are all named after Greek and Roman gods and goddess. My mother had an obsession with Greek and Roman mythology. I had actually got that obsession from my mother and the first place I was headed on my adventure was Greece. But more about that later. Right now my ass was about to be lit on fire and I frankly didn't give 2 shits. "VENUS MA...." My mom started to scream until she was interrupted by my brother Zeus. "Whoa there little sister what crawled up your ass and died?" He laughed when he heard my tantrum.
