Marked by the alpha, bound by fate

Marked by the alpha, bound by fate

Rowan had looked slightly alarmed by this description and come anyway. The pool was smaller in person than Tessaly's maps suggested—perhaps eight feet across, the spring entering from the northeast and the overflow leaving south in a thin ribbon that disappeared into the forest floor after a few yards. The water held the light in a way that seemed slightly too luminous for a cloudy day, and the circle of trees around it were old enough that their roots were entirely exposed above the soil, forming a natural low wall. Mira stood at the pool's edge and looked into the water for a long time.

The Wolf’s Bride

The Wolf’s Bride

“If we don’t kill it today, it’ll come for revenge when it recovers its strength. “If that happens, it’ll easily create spaces to launch sneak attacks in hiding while we’ll be in the open, constantly on our guard to defend ourselves. It’ll put us in a passive position. I suggest we kill it!” Andrius thought the same. It was not his first time facing the Whirlwind Panther, so he was aware of its strength and cunningness. “Let’s go!” The two then braced themselves and entered the new space, which they found very different from the outside world. The space was not huge, and it was much brighter. However, what shocked Andrius was that the Whirlwind Panther was lying by a pool, licking the water.

Scorned Luna To Alpha Queen

he muttered, then abruptly turned his back to her and started wading toward the opposite side of the pool. Lyralei sagged against the stone edge in relief, her knees nearly giving out. What the hell had just happened? That pull, that strange attraction— Her thoughts scattered as Gerald climbed out of the water, his back still to her. Completely naked. Water sluiced down his body, following the grooves of muscle and the paths of old scars. His back was broad, tapering to a narrow waist, and his ass—goddess help her, she noticed his ass—was as muscled as the rest of him. Water dripped from his hair down his spine in rivulets that caught the torchlight.

THE TRIBUTE QUEEN OF THE DRAGON KING

THE TRIBUTE QUEEN OF THE DRAGON KING

Raw, ancient power far superior to my human lineage. A few minutes later, I'm standing in front of large pools of water. The green springs ripple with silent waves as if someone invisible is swimming quietly under the surface. The pool in front of me has steam coiling up into the air, the smoke looking white and harmless. Burning fire torches are set high in the walls. They make the spring pools sparkle orange in combination with the green color. The sight is lovely but makes me feel a little unsettled. I clutch the folds of my dress tighter, though I know I won’t be wearing it much longer.

Mira rushed to him, chanting a protective charm as the creature advanced. Aria’s heart pounded. The pool behind it pulsed, the liquid rippling with each heartbeat like a living thing. Was this really the anchor Marwen spoke of? A conduit for the Deep Root? “Aria!” Mira shouted, eyes wild. “The pool—it’s amplifying it. Feeding it!” Of course. The pool wasn’t just a wound—it was a gateway. “Cover me!” Aria commanded.

Shattered Vows, Silent Fire

“Because of me?” Kael turned to her then, his eyes dark and storm-laced. “Because of what you carry. Your blood… Lyra, it’s unlocking things that were never meant to wake again.” They moved again, following the spectral tune until the trees thinned, revealing a glade bathed in moonlight. At its center lay a pool of obsidian water, rippling though no wind stirred its surface. Around it stood standing stones etched with runes—some glowing faintly as if stirred by unseen breath.

I was seriously going to stop reading this book as it is a bit expensive and the story was deviating from the central plot. But today I unlocked a chapter again and I am totally happy after reading it. And I found the author cut out some irrelevant Oakphet portions and added new content. Good work👍

The Legendary Luna ( Luna With No wolf)

Her voice was quiet but certain. Yes. I knelt and cupped the water in my palms. Just before I drank, the sharp scent hit me,silverroot. Poison to wolves. They had laced the pool. This wasn’t a test. It was a trap. I looked up, eyes meeting Elder Garran’s. He smiled faintly. Cold. Calculated. I drank. The burn was instant. Fire licked down my throat, scorching every nerve. Pain tore through me, my vision shattering at the edges. My knees buckled but I didn’t fall.
