As soon as he finished speaking, Griffin Cooper walked out of the side door with Hannah Elliot and another man supporting him. Perhaps it was really because Nathaniel angered him, or perhaps the weather was too cold. Griffin seemed to be quite ill. Perhaps it was also because Griffin didn't want the public to know that he pretended to be sick the last time and didn't want to hand over the baton of authority to Nathaniel himself... In short, Griffin did not look very good. It seemed that he needed to walk with assistance. With help from Hannah and the other man, he walked for a long time before he arrived at the center of the podium and came to Dominic's side.

Griff ran his fingers through his hair and swaggered forward, looking like he was sporting his white three-piece suit instead of the same pair of jogging bottoms and a black hoodie he’d worn while captured by the demons. “The very same,” he drawled. She hopped from foot to foot, her cheeks turning pink. “You’re even more handsome in real life than in your photos.” My eyes narrowed. I thought she was his ex. Griff stilled. “Luna?” “I’m Juniper.” She rushed forward and flung her arms around his shoulders, giving him a tight hug that made Beki snarl. “Easy,” I said to my wolf. “He isn’t worth the effort.”

But when one wolf at the far end of the room whispered too loudly and the table chuckled under their breath, he set his fork down with a sharp clink. The sound cut through the room like glass breaking. Every head turned. His voice was calm. Cold. “Is there something you’d like to share?” The wolf froze. The color drained from his face. “No, Alpha,” he said quickly, eyes dropping to the table. “Good,” Nolan said. “Because if anyone here thinks my wife is a subject for gossip, they’re free to take it up with me directly. As I doubt that any alpha would allow limits to be crossed when it comes to his Luna. And I think that you know what it is to cross a limit when it is me.”

I wonder why Alessia hid her true identity—what was she afraid of? I have known her father a long time, and he doesn't seem like a monster who would hurt his daughter. Maybe she doesn't want to get married, and I understand that because I hate the Mikhas. Taking out my phone, I call her father. "Long time, Mr. Gravano," I hear his voice coming through the phone. I played another song, my fingers dancing across the keys, when my phone chimed with a notification. I frowned, thinking it might be Kiara or Clinton. But when I picked it up, I realized it was a W******p message from an unknown number. Curiosity piqued, I opened it. It was a video. I clicked on it, and my blood ran cold. There was Clinton, on a bed, with Seraphina. They were tangled in the sheets, her hands cupping his face as she kissed him. I couldn’t see his full face, but I knew it was him. My heart dropped.

Janet turned to Griffin with a forced smile before walking away. "Don't mind her," Karen said, waving it off. "Tell me about yourself. You look familiar—I feel like I've seen you somewhere before." "I work for Mr. Stefan Everest. I'm his proxy," Griffin replied simply. Karen’s eyes widened. "Oh my God, that’s right! And what’s that like?" Griffin leaned back. "Are you one of those people who hate him just because he's crippled and mute?" Karen quickly shook her head. "Of course not! I think it's amazing that you’ve stayed with him for so long. And it’s really brave of you to be looking for a company of your own."

It's such a shame that Johnny is holding the camera right now so I can't see him and his naked body, only the hot security guard and Kissa are showing in the camera right now. "Um, my name is Brent, 27 years old and I'm a security guard. I'm kind of new to this job, only three months since I started here and I like it, the pay is not that much but it helps me keep my apartment," The hot security guard said looking at the camera, his eyes radiating a shade of green and it's just so captivating and hypnotizing at the same time. "Luna's father is nowhere to be seen on our territory." He vowed his head down while talking. I guess even though these two were best friends, it still meant Don had to respect Aaron as an Alpha. "What? Do you mean he escaped out of her hands?" Aaron yelled furiously. Don winced but nodded his head. I turned to look just in time to see Aaron's fist flying down on a glass table and it shattered.

She began to entertain the idea that this evening would hold delightful surprises and perhaps change her perception of Reuben forever. Reuben left to place their orders. Her eyes caught the name of the restaurant. It didn't quite ring a bell. He had told her he was taking her to a restaurant called Dinewell. But this one was a different name. It read - Spoon and Spice which sounded quite funny. But the tiny humour did nothing to quell her rising anxiety. Her thoughts went to Donovan who had stopped calling. He only called a couple of times. She knew he would be livid about it but she could not bring herself to answer. She wanted him to stay in her past.

I had faith that Dane could and would. The man chuckled once more and remarked, “If you believe so.” He shook his head while still laughing and added, “He was unable to rescue Selena. How will he save you?” Then he slapped my ass. I let out a yelp, and fury burned through me. He was the one who killed Dane’s mate. “You bastard!” I sent a blow on the side of his head with all my strength, causing us to lose our balance and fall onto the cold forest floor.
