Grimmsnarl の小説・ストーリー

a voice shrieked, a wet, rattling sound of a throat scoured by dust. A massive rogue Alpha, Grimm, stepped into the light of a flickering amber lantern. He was a nightmare of silver-salt tumors and exposed ribs, his left arm a multi-jointed claw that clicked rhythmically. He pointed that claw at a human woman clutching a crying infant. "The King promised us a roof!" Grimm roared, his yellow eyes bulging with a manic, dehydrated fire. "But the roof is a kiln! The rocks are drinking our blood! If the King won't open the aquifers, we take the wet meat! We drink the small ones first!"

She had to hope that the scent of the thousand spices and illegal concoctions around them was enough to drown out the smell of a hybrid and her marked friend. In the dense, perfumed fog of Alchemist’s Row, a figure no taller than a fire hydrant watched them from the shadow of a stall selling pickled manticore eyes. His name was Gnash, a gnome with skin the color of a cured ham and a vest full of brass gadgets that ticked with a rhythmic, nervous energy. He was currently on his fourth cigar of the morning, the thick, pungent smoke curling around his oversized ears. Most in the Half-Market ignored the duo, just two more girls in hoods, but Gnash was a connoisseur of "Others."

“They fought like they had something to prove. Not mindless beasts looking for a fight—soldiers with a mission. Faster, stronger… coordinated. Like a pack.” Alexander’s golden eyes flickered. “Did you see him?” Liam snorted, kicking at the dirt. “If by ‘the ominous him,’ you mean GrimMaw, then no. If you meant some other mysterious him, I’m gonna need details. Maybe a sketch? A last known address?” Alexander sighed. “GrimMaw, Liam.” “Right, right. No, I didn’t see him.” Liam rubbed his neck. “Which honestly makes me more nervous. It’s like knowing there’s a spider in your room but not being able to find it. I hated that guy—always an ass when we were kids.”

His grip was firm, almost possessive as he drew me closer. "From this day forth," he began, his voice echoing powerfully through the grand hall. "Wilhelmina Growler is my Luna, the female Alpha of the Gravemaw Hounds." A chorus of cheers and howls echoed through the room, resonating with the force of our pack's loyalty.

The man's eyes widened in terror as Annihilator stalked into the cell, his growl low and menacing. Annihilator wasted no time. He lunged at the man, his powerful jaws clamping down on the criminal's throat. The man screamed, but it was quickly cut off as blood spurted from his neck. Annihilator tore into his flesh with savage ferocity, relishing the taste of the man's blood and the feeling of bones crunching beneath his teeth. The cell was soon filled with the sound of tearing flesh and the scent of blood.

It was frantic melee throughout the Damnarynth as the battle progressed—a mixture of snarling of our soldiers hissing and screeching of ghouls, serpents, Kaidas and arachnoids. Our foe’s limbs were splashing, splaying and flying across the sewers in explosive merge of their guts and gusts of their magic, which was syphoned in our blades as we cut our way through. We were getting close to the grand open space clearing that hid the passage of borders between Damnarynth and Morsburg, the next circle of Wengarthria. Suddenly, out of nowhere, chainsaw-like snarling radiated through the swamp. Damnon, the enraged master of Damnarynth, appeared before us. Uh oh, the dude is massive.

He asked scrunching his eyebrows together “ send her in here and I’ll apologize. A wolf was found this morning on the territory line” I groaned rubbing the bridge of my nose “ What do you mean?” He asked dropping his arms to his sides “ The wolf was dead, not as brutal as she explained but it was pretty bad. Stomach was cut open and the body was hollowed out. I’m not sure if it was the hunters or someone else but I’m going to need her help finding out” leaning against the desk I place my elbow on the table and rub the side of my face with my right hand. A lot has happened this morning and this migraine isn’t helping anything

I gripped his shoulders as I glared him down. He didn't even kill the other man. It's not fair! I looked straight into the man's eyes that was holding Brendon. Who is this guy? I growled protectively for Brendon. "My apologies," He said as his eyes held sorrows of his own. "It's okay. I'm Alpha Aaragorn of Blacktail Growlers."

“The one thing Selene stole from me.” The world seemed to still. Breath hitched in chests. Her voice dropped to a vicious whisper. “I want him.” Silence. A deadly, suffocating silence. “The Summoner of the Death Wolf.” The weight of her demand sent a cold dread slithering down their spines. But before her words could fully sink in— A sharp, searing pain struck her neck. Her breath hitched. Her blackened eyes flickered—once, twice—before they bled back into stormy gray. Her knees buckled, the world spinning as darkness threatened to swallow her whole.

He can't see me cause his face is on the opposite side which gives me a full view of his large tanned back, tensing at his compressed movements. With the bar on his shoulders, he does some repetitive squats and the veins of his streaky arms throb at every crouching position. A few drops of sweat are glistening on his spine till they disappear in his grey joggings pants. I try to catch my breath because I'm suffocating due to too much hotness. That guy is too peachy. Oh, what am I doing? It's like I'm stalking him. Stop this Hayat! Shaking my head to snap out of those thoughts, I take a deep breath to gather courage and finally call him in a loud tone, "Eren!"
