Double Claimed: Marked by Two

Double Claimed: Marked by Two

My legs moved so fast, making it hard for Ruby to catch up. I finally stopped when I felt something within me twitching, subtle enough that I thought it was just my nerve. Then the pain came, ripping and swearing, my bones feeling like it was about to pop out. I winced as I fell on the floor, but the pain was still there. The pain surged through me, I clutched onto my stomach as I knelt on the floor, then my hands began to twitch, I let out a low cry. I stared at my fingers as long nails began to grow. I could feel my heartbeat throbbing heavily, the cool night breeze did no good to the surging pain. My back cracked and I felt something rip out of my clothes, my knees bent backwards as hairs

The Freak Is The Mate Of The Lycan

The Freak Is The Mate Of The Lycan

Ares's voice was sharp with barely controlled panic. "Growing pains, most likely," Elias said, measuring out a dose of the dark liquid into a glass of water. "The baby is developing rapidly—faster than a normal pregnancy. That puts strain on the mother's body. The cramping is probably just her muscles and organs adjusting to accommodate the growth." He handed me the glass. "Drink this. It will ease the pain and help you rest." I drank it obediently, grimacing at the bitter taste. "You're sure the baby's okay?"

The Alpha King's Little Mate

The Alpha King's Little Mate

Her calm was cracking. "The bone breaking, the rough texture and feel of whatever you're wearing or laying on, each and every cell on your body harden to create rougher skin and at the same time, each and every hair grow out of the skin, feeling as if little needles are growing from out of your skin. The way your ribs break and then grow larger, how your organs tighten up, the expanding of your face to make the snout and the most painful part has to be your spin breaking in order for all of this to happen. You'd think that would mean everything goes numb. . .but it's the opposite actually."

Ebony's Pack: Fated to the Ranger Wolves

Ebony's Pack: Fated to the Ranger Wolves

All those movies exploiting a pup's medical conditions. “Oh, oh I see. Like a girl not developing. Or a boy getting his growth spurts and gaining his adult height. So, a pup shifting too young can cause medical developmental problems. Like physical?” Marian asked confused and concerned. She didn’t like the idea that they’d made comedies and horror stories based on a child’s or pup’s suffering. No mom would like hearing this.

CAGED: In the dark embrace of my Saviour

CAGED: In the dark embrace of my Saviour

Rudra's POV My heartbeats were doing a marathon and my hands were sweaty out of nervousness. "Mr. Malhotra, the baby......" "What happened to my baby" "The baby is absolutely fit and fine. There is still a month for it to see the world" "What? Then why she was having pain?" "The pain is due to constipation" "Constipation? She was crying like..." "Yeah, it happens. It is her first time so she doesn't know how actual pain feels. That's why. It is not new for us. It happens almost every day"

Astral Odyssey: Dying Ember

Astral Odyssey: Dying Ember

Her vocal chord and mouth just could not seem to cooperate with her intention to sound any proper syllabuses. Her physical growth also seemed a little stunted. When she was supposed to be able to roll over, sit up, or stand by herself, she could not. When she was supposed to be able to grasp onto things firmly, they fell out of her loose grip. Her family had shared worried glances, but they never stopped smiling warmly at her.

Jack Frost's Bride

Jack Frost's Bride

“Kolya, do I look different? I mean – I feel like I almost do not fit in my skin. I keep getting taller, my hair is getting longer, and new freckles and pimples keep popping up on my face like turnips in the field… I just, I do not know, I suppose I feel quite strange.” Morozko laughed softly. “I remember puberty, Anya. Nechist go through it too, you know. It is an awkward time – your heart awakens to how beautiful a young maiden is, or in your case, a strapping young man like that football player you mentioned. You test yourself – against your family, against yourself. I think that, when you are twirling your pom-poms or dancing the khorovod in the fields with the villagers, you will

We All Grow Up At Some Point

We All Grow Up At Some Point

belief phrase aside and faced reality. As we know that time and life don’t stand still because we have dilemmas, as time flew, her tummy started to show, yes she liked food and had a big one but it was becoming visible that it wasn’t a normal tummy but something was growing inside her. Her family was seated in the lounge during having supper, it was one of her favourite dishes, spaghetti and mince with melted cheese on top, and she starved for it.

The Unexpected Mate

The Unexpected Mate

I back away from her quickly before she does it more. We stay here and play for a while before dinner is done. I go in and scarf down two helpings of food. I have been really hungry today. I must be hitting a growth spurt as mom would put it. I do feel like I’ve gotten a bit taller but no one else has noticed. It’s ok though because they will with time.

I really and truly LOVED this book. Yes, the ending was unexpected. Everleigh is too powerful and should be mated to only one fae mate. Or a fae/werewolf one. Grey and Zayne weren’t able to appreciate her. Actually, no one was able to appreciate her true self. I’m relieved she left them all.
Laura Wallinger
this was a GREAT book. I loved it the entire time. But the ending sucks. please tell me you left it like that to write a sequel if nor please add 1 or 2 chapters that say what happens to them all. like dies Eve make a new better life for herself? does Grey get another chance to be happy?

Karish

Karish

I was hoping the doctor could give me some answers. She was still wearing her pajamas when she welcomed us in with a frown. Then she led us to the underground level and inside one of the rooms. She asked me some questions as she examined my vitals, then sighed and left the room. Karish and I exchanged questioning glances. The doctor came back a minute later with a glass of water which she gave me with a couple of pills. "You're a late bloomer. It's rare but not uncommon. Shifting for the first time goes hand in hand with puberty, so this is nothing to worry about." She explained.
