Grumpy Characters Novels & Stories

He snapped out, his entire being rile and its muscles became tense. Grumpy people, I wondered the kind of men, this pack is producing. They are always too serious for my liken, having a little relaxation will make them more handsome. Those words ring in my head as I look at his godlike face, his face is alluring, it's like the sun, watching it one will never get tired of it unlike Prince Rupert's annoying scary face, which could make one cower and probably have bad dreams. "Yes!" His eyebrows become thicker as he frowns forming an ark and his jawbone tightens, his gaze was like that of someone that hasn't heard the word yes before.

“You heard him. He said you’re being an idiot.” An amused smile spread across my lips. There were only two people in the North who were not afraid of me. Clyde and Duke. I almost forgot there was one more on the list. Katriona. “Clyde, kindly tell Mr. Grumpy over there not to scowl too much. His real age is showing. At this rate, he wouldn’t be able to get the girls anymore. What he needs is sex to chill instead of nitpicking my every action every fucking day.”

Moody Carrero on full show. “Which I do … Hair twisting and all. Grumpy!” I huff too and he looks at me for a moment, a brief flicker across his face as he gives up this pointless bickering. We’re both so touchy today it seems. No idea where all this came from. Possibly his delayed hangover if he even got one.

I watch Grumpy, his facial expression shifts from confusion to anger as he tries to get off the ground, but he makes no progress except a simple twitch of his fingers. For a second, I feel concerned for him, but I slap myself mentally. His inability to move is probably the only reason I am still alive right now. Without taking my eyes off him, I move to the end of the room and pick up my makeshift weapon. My fingers tighten around the rough wood as I stalk forward. He looks up, his eyes trailing my movement, but I ignore his bored, almost amused expression “Is that what you plan on using to harm me?” There is a mocking tilt to his tone, and this only spikes my anger.

She felt drained over the exhausting work. She had been spoiled and pampered from a young age. Everything had been spoon-fed to her. She had never done such laborious work before. As time went on, her resentment only intensified. Emerald struggled to swallow while Amelia fed her one day. As a result, she spilled food all over Amelia’s clothes. Amelia could no longer contain herself. She smashed the plate and shouted in anger.

He sighed again. “You didn't offend me" “Then why are you being so grumpy all of a sudden?" He was quiet for a while then he let out a chuckle and some sort of happiness filled my heart. Gosh, I need to stop feeling all these things for this man that I didn't even know. For one, he could even be worse than Jason and this nice Guy was just a facade. “I've never been called grumpy before," I pouted. “Well you should be called grumpy because you have been acting grumpy ever since we met. Is it because of me? Am I the problem? You can just leave me off here and I won't cause any more trouble and…"

“You even managed to get in here undetected, you’re better than I expected.” A low chuckle. “Of course, that’s exactly why you chose to work with me in the first place, isn’t it? Because you always pick the best.” I scoffed. “Don’t flatter yourself. Now, tell me why you’re here.” They leaned back against the seat, crossing their arms as if they had all the time in the world. Then, with a teasing lilt to their voice, they said, “Be patient, Mr. Grumpy. I know you’re obsessed with your wife.”

I laugh. “Yeah… they’re definitely similar.Possessive. Stubborn. Stupid rich. And they just love taking their damn sweet time making moves—as if we don't already know exactly where this is going.I swear to God though—if he doesn’t ask soon,I’ll snap and do it myself.” “Alright grumpy.Let’s go to bed now.” “Night, love ya.” ….. I couldn't chance opening my mouth for fear that I'd decorate all of us with ickiness. No idea, Hols. I don't know, Stretch. Three for three, cheeks. Just try something. For the love of all the stars, just try something, Grumpy said. I feel like someone's taken steel wool to my insides and trying to shave me down to nothing. My lips curled up in a snarl at the idea of someone causing one of my mates pain. They were mine. Mine to protect. To love. To cherish. To guard. Mine. Shirts off. Now.

"I think everyone, at least once in their life, feels like they're failing at some point or another." "Are you actually being civil?" I ask, failing to mask my shock. If you know Grey, you know it's not often that he's civil. "This is exactly why I don't try to help people," he grumbles aloud to himself, unhappy. I open my mouth to say something when a voice speaks over me: "Why are you so grumpy on such a beautiful morning, Grey?" "Beautiful, alright," Grey agrees, a grin now on his face – it's a weird sight to see, I'm not going to lie.
