The familiarity of that beautiful sound caused my stomach to twist. Then he rose back to his full height. He ruffled my hair playfully. “Gummy bear, you still haven’t changed huh?” He croaked out, the laughter still tainting his incredibly deep yet exotic voice. He was now looking at me. His eyes were back to their normal colour and his canines were back in place. Now I was more confused. Why was he laughing at me? What just happened?
